Varun Tej’s sports drama Ghani has seen multiple ups and downs during the course of its making. The movie came to a halt during the pandemic and there were also reports of director Kiran Korrapati having differences with Varun Tej. A special boxing ring set was erected recently in a Hyderabad studio to shoot some crucial boxing shots for the film. Debutant director Kiran Korapati is directing this sports action drama. Saiee Manjrekar, Sunil Shetty, Upendra and Jagapathy Babu will be essaying key roles in this film.  Sidhu Mudda and Allu Bobby have jointly produced the film under the banners of Renaissance Pictures and Allu Bobby Company.

Nani’s Tuck Jagadish has been in waiting for a release date since April. The film was earlier scheduled to release on 23rd April. But, as luck would have it, the movie got pushed due to lockdown like a number of other much-anticipated movies.

This Nani and Ritu Verma starter is now set to release on OTT now. This update has come up now despite both makers and Nani repeatedly claiming that there will only be a theatrical release for this family entertainer.

The movie is presently in the re-recording stage and as per reports, the movie will now stream on Amazo Prime. With the movie in its ending stages, there is still no movement from the filmmakers regarding a release date.

Shiva Nirvana is directing this family entertainer and Tuck Jagadish marks the second collaboration between him and Nani after Ninnu Kori. Jagapathi Babu, Nassar, Ritu Varma, Aishwarya Rajesh, and Rohini are playing other pivotal roles, while Sahu Garapati and Harish Peddi are the producers.

Allu Arjun’s PR team over-excitement backfired

0

The much-awaited update on Allu Arjun’s Pushpa release date came out yesterday and has given great energy to fans and movie lovers. After months of wait, finally, Tollywood biggies are going to hit the screens with Sarkaru Vaari Paata, PSPK-Rana film, and Radhe Shyam which will release soon after Pushpa.

Pushpa is set to release this Christmas and will clash with Bollywood biggie Lal Singh Chaddha and possibly KGF: Chapter 2 as well. While Allu Arjun and Fahadh have a sizable following in the south, Aamir Khan’s hold in the north and overseas can’t be denied. Ignoring this factor and undermining Aamir Khan’s stardom, Allu Arjun’s PR team has gone on an overdrive claiming Pushpa will beat Lal Singh Chaddha quite easily.

Such actions from his overzealous PR team will only hurt the credibility of the Icon Star who is riding on a career-high at the moment.

Another thing that has to be kept in mind is that Allu Arjun is entering the pan-India market for the first time. Barring Baahubali, no other film has successfully created records all over. On the other hand, Christmas has been Aamir Khan’s favorite season for over a decade. He has delivered blockbusters and Industry Hits such as Ghajini, 3 Idiots, Dangal, etc. during the Christmas season.

In such a situation, Allu Arjun’s PR team’s activities such as publishing fabricated articles will only damage the Icon Star’s image. Netizens have already started trolling the PR team for its over-zealous activities and for comparisons with Aamir Khan who is undeniably one of the topmost stars in India.

Actress Mehreen Pirzada has been on a signing spree. After the lockdown, the actress has signed on to a number of films. She will be seen returning to her role in Anil Ravipudi’s F3. Along with that, she will be also seen in Maruthi’s Manchi Rojulochaie’.

She has also signed on opposite actor Havish for a romantic drama. Havish was last seen in 2019 release ‘Seven’. The film which is essentially a love story will be directed by GS Karthik Reddy. He has earlier directed films such as ‘Voter’ and ‘Adda’.

The untitled film will have a unique screenplay and the characterization of both Havish and Mehreen in this film will be narrative-driven. “It’s a fictional romantic entertainer with interesting twists in the script and unique screenplay,” said a source close to the film.

Havish is also a producer along with appearing in lead roles in movies such as ‘Genius’, ‘Vastha Nee Venuka’, and ‘Ram Leela’ in the past. In 2019, he produced Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas-starrer ‘Rakshasudu’ after acquiring its Tamil rights. He is now producing ‘Khiladi’ with Ravi Teja in the lead.

Monal Gajjar joins Nagarjuna

0

Monal Gajjar has been signed on for an extended cameo in Nagarjuna’s upcoming film Bangarraju. The film is a sequel to 2016 Nagarjuna starter Soggade Chinni Nayana. The sequel will be a socio- fantasy drama and similar in the genre of Soggade. Monal will be playing the role of Rambha

“One of the reasons we cast Monal in the role was that she’s a natural. We have seen her earlier films as well and she’s a performer and we thought her on-screen chemistry with Nagarjuna will be great. When we approached her, she was more than willing to come on board,” said director Kalyan Krishna

Ramya Krishna will once again make a return from the original along with Nagarjuna. Nagarjuna will play the double role while this time, the movie will have Naga Chaitanya and Krithi Shetty as well.

The makers are planning to launch the film on August 20 and complete the entire production by November. Bangarraju is slated to hit the screens in summer 2022.

Big Bollywood star confirmed for Rakshasudu remake

0

Just days after the announcement of Rakshasudu 2, director Ramesh Verma has given another big update. His 2019 psycho crime thriller Rakshasudu will be remade in Hindi and will star none other than Akshay Kumar himself. Akshay, who has a knack for picking successful Telugu and Tamil films will now star in this Rakshasudu remake.

The actor was scheduled to start working on this film last year itself, but couldn’t finish his ongoing commitments on time due to Corona. Ramesh Verma will direct the Hindi version as well.

Incidentally, Rakshasudu itself is a remake of the 2018Tamil superhit Ratsasan. Rakshasudu also featured Anupama Parameswaran and Rajeev Kanakala in key roles. Saravanan who played the cold-blooded killer Christopher in the original reprised his role in Telugu as well.

It will be interesting to see who plays the role of Christopher in the Hindi version. Akshay was earlier supposed to collaborate with Koneru Satyanarayana for the film but, he later requested the producer to sell the rights to Akshay’s close friend Vashu Bhagnani who will now produce the remake.

Trivikram – The Business Man of PK Rana Film

0

The PK-Rana Ayyappannum Koshiyum remake announcement and the recent making glimpse has got everyone thinking the same thing. It can be seen that Trivikram has been getting more prominence than the actual director of the film Sagar Chandra.

The ace director is the dialogue and screenplay writer of the film but, the portrayal in these making videos has been totally centered around him. This has led to a number of discussions among netizens. While this might come across as a peculiar instance for many, there is a clear logic and strategy behind this move.

Pawan Kalyan and Trivikram combo has a special place in the fans’ hearts. The duo shares a great bond not just on-screen but off-screen as well. This easy working relationship and Trivikram’s current rising stocks in Tollywood are the major reasons behind his prominence in the videos. Adding to it, Trivikram is fresh of a non-BB Industry Hit and his presence can provide the much-needed momentum and boost to the team.

Along with Pawan Kalyan and Rana, Trivikram is another big star attraction of the film. As a writer, Trivikram has a number of massive hits to his credit. His presence has added massive value to the film and featuring him in the making videos makes absolute sense. The makers’ move of promoting Trivikram is a business move and aimed at cashing on his presence.
