Shocking start for Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi

Tollywood Anchor cum Actor Pradeep Machiraju’s latest film, Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi released in the theatres yesterday. The Anchor took a gap after his 30 Rojullo Preminchadam Ela which was a decent success and came up with his latest venture. But the film shockingly saw a negligible opening at the box office.

30 Rojullo Preminchadam Ela received a stunning hype and buzz with the popularity of its song, Neeli Neeli Aakaasam. But this didn’t happen for Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi which resulted in a poor buzz for the film. The film is a decent entertainer with good comedy and 2nd half was a bit dragged which became a big minus for the film.

If the film had carried good pre-buzz it could have seen a decent number on the opening day. It needs to be seen how the film trends in the weekend. A big jump is needed which looks very tough for the film.

Jack starring Siddhu Jonnalagadda released amidst good hype but failed getting positive word of mouth on the opening day. The film despite being Siddhu Jonnalagadda’s next film after his blockbuster, Tillu Square, couldn’t generate a big response. This resulted in poor openings for the film around 4 crores gross.

The word of mouth and reviews impacted the film heavily, and Day 2 just added 1.5 crores gross which took the total 2 Days gross to around 5.5 crores. The film must see a big jump today and tomorrow for a decent weekend but this doesn’t seem possible due to low buzz and negative word of mouth and reviews.

Interestingly, these spy films have been failing to attract the audiences in the theatres. Nikhil’s Spy and Akhil’s Agent too have become failures and now Siddhu Jonalagadda has added another film to this list.

Good Bad Ugly crosses 100 crores in 3 days

Good Bad Ugly starring Ajith Kumar recorded a thunderous start on the opening day. It maintained a good hold on the Day 2 and collected around 80 crores in 2 days. Today, the film saw a good jump and is also on the way for a big weekend with the holiday advantages of Sunday and Tamil New Year.

The film has also crossed the 100 crores mark worldwide and is expected to score around 160 crores for the extended 5 days weekend. The film is also on track to becoming Ajith’s career biggest grosser by beating his Thunivu before the 2nd weekend itself. It needs to go for the 300 crore mark to achieve a big success for all the parties involved.

For this mark, the film must maintain a strong momentum at least for 2 weeks. Meanwhile, fans and audience are very happy with the film’s positive word of mouth and opening records. Ajith saw a big disaster in the form of Vidaamuyarchi this year back in February. But Good Bad Ugly looks to set a big record erasing the bad performance of Vidaamuyarchi.

However, in the film, TEST, her performance felt very ordinary, especially in the interval scene where she bursts at Madhavan emotionally; her acting is getting trolled on social media.

Not only Nayan, but even Siddarth’s performance is also very ordinary in the film. Madhavan in the first half looks good, but in the 2nd half his performance is also dull. All three leads in the film are already very big actors, but somehow in this film their performance is not up to their standards.

SSMB29 release date locked

SSMB29, the collaboration between Tollywood Actor Mahesh Babu and Director Rajamouli, is currently in the shooting stage. JAAT Day 2 Box Office Collections

Sunny Deol’s JAAT performed decently on its first day at the box office. The film received a positive response, but the numbers were not that huge. JAAT Day 2 Box Office collections are out now.

JAAT Box Office: Not so Strong

On Day 1, the film sees a moderate start with around 9.6 Cr net in India. The 2nd day being a weekday affected the film, and the collections had a drop. The film showed a good hold of 70% from the day 1.

The day 2 net of the action drama is 6.5 Cr. Sunny Deol’s JAAT Day 2 Box Office collections are out now, and the total India net is 16 Cr.

The movie’s fall on the second day is not that big and, the hold is also not that strong. Today it is expected to take a bigger jump, and it has to collect bigger than day 1 and tomorrow has to be the biggest day for the film.

Monday being a government holiday can add some advantage for Jaat, and it must aim to get closer to 50 Cr net figure in the 5-day extended weekend.

Taking the budget into the consideration, Gopichand Malineni’s directorial has to collect around 150 Cr net in India to become a big successful film for producers.

Three films released yesterday from three film Industries. Interestingly, all three of these films have a Telugu connection. Three of these films were also sold to one OTT platform i.e., Netflix.

Firstly, Jack starring Siddhu Jonnalagadda is a straight Telugu film directed by Bhaskar. The film had generated considerable hype before its release, but the reviews were not particularly encouraging, and the film is heading towards a potential failure. The film will stream on Netflix in 4 weeks.

Jaat starring Sunny Deol released in Hindi directed by Tollywood Director, Gopichand Malineni. The film was also produced jointly by Mythri Movie Makers and People Media Factory. The film received decent reviews and the team expects to score a hit there. Jaat will arrive on Netflix after 8 weeks.

Good Bad Ugly starring Ajith released in Tamil directed by Adhik Ravichandran. The film is a maiden Tamil Production by Mythri Movie Makers in Kollywood.
