Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi starrer Love Story is all set to release tomorrow worldwide. From the hype and advance bookings, it is clear that the movie will have record openings for sure. The craze for this Sekar Kammula film has been growing day by day all across. The chartbuster music and emotional trailer have further added to the expectations.

The pre-sales in the US have now touched the $150K mark. In Hyderabad, the movie is already showing up 43% occupancy with Rs 1.3 crores gross collection. Seeing the positive response from the movie lovers, extra shows are being added in multiplexes. The same is the case in many other areas such as Vizag where many shows are houseful for tomorrow’s release.

The most awaited movie Love Story has done ₹32.8Cr worldwide pre-release business. With the trends and increasing anticipation about the film, it is all set to be the biggest opener of Naga Chaitanya’s career.

Ram Charan to launch Anubhavinchu Raja teaser

Mega Power Star Ram Charan will launch the teaser of Raj Tarun’s Anubhavinchu Raja at 10:08 AM today. The makers of the film released a poster featuring Raj Tarun to make the special announcement.

Kashish Khan will be the female lead in this film marking her Tollywood debut. Sreenu C Gavireddy is directing this film and Supriya Yarlagadda under the Annapurna Studios and Sree Venkateshwara Cinemas LLP banners are bankrolling the project.

The first look poster of the movie was released by King Nagarjuna and the film has almost neared its completion. Gopi Sunder is composing the tunes for this romantic comedy entertainer. Raj Tarun is eagerly looking for success and has pinned a lot of hopes on Anubhavinchu Raja.

Dookudu special shows – never before in Tollywood

Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Dookudu continues to wave the magic even after a decade. The film completes its 10 years of release today and the special shows organized have been sold out like never before.

Such has been the craze that 2 centers in Nizam, 2 in West, 1 in Ceded and Uttarandhra, 2 in East, 2 in Nellore, and 1 center in Krishna have been sold out. A total of 22 special shows have been organized and the other centers are also filling up quite fast and on the way to record occupancies.

Dookudu was a landmark film not just in Superstar Mahesh Babu’s career, but also in the history of Tollywood. It opened avenues abroad and showcased the stamina of a Telugu film. Mahesh’s all-round performance in the film especially in the action and comedy scenes stood as the highlight of the film. Brahmanandam and MS Narayana’s rib-tickling track ensured the movie provided wholesome entertainment to all.

These factors along with Mahesh’s magnetic screen presence have ensured that Dookudu remains the audience’s favourite even today. And the bookings of the special show after a decade of release prove the same.

MegaStar Chiranjeevi’s God Father Shoot Begins

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s 153rd film, directed by Mohan Raja and produced grandly by Konidela Productions and Super Good Films, is titled Godfather. The title was announced officially through an action-packed poster on Chiranjeevi’s birthday and the response for the same was overwhelming. Chiru will be seen in a powerful role in the movie.

Tipped to be a high intense political action drama, successful director Mohan Raja is helming the project with extra care as he is aware of what fans expect from a megastar film. Regular shooting of Godfather began last month in Hyderabad with the team canning a breath-taking action sequence on the Megastar.A new shooting schedule of Godfather commenced today in Ooty. In this new shooting schedule, the team will shoot talkie part on Chiranjeevi and other prominent cast.

Master cinematographer Nirav Shah handles the camera, while the in-form music director SS Thaman renders soundtracks. Suresh Selvarajan – the art director for many Bollywood Blockbusters – takes care of the artwork of this film. RB Choudary and NV Prasad are producing the flick, Konidela Surekha is the presenter.

Mahesh Babu launches Pelli SandaD trailer

Superstar Mahesh Babu launched the trailer of Srikanth’s son Roshan starter Pelli SandaD. Sree Leela is playing the lead role in this family drama. The film also marks the acting debut of ace director K Raghavendra Rao. Launching the trailer, Mahesh tweeted:

K Raghavendra Rao himself has done direction supervision for the film. Incidentally, it was Srikanth who played the lead role in the original Pelli Sandadi again directed by K Raghavendra Rao in 1996.

Republic Trailer: A clash of legislature and executive

Sai Dharam Tej’s Republic trailer was released by Megastar Chiranjeevi a while ago. The trailer is filled with heavy dialogues and intense moments. It focuses on the lawlessness of the land and how the politicians often encourage these elements for their own benefit.

Republic is an action-packed commentary on the Indian democratic system and how politicians yield supreme power over the civil servants and courts. Sai Dharam Tej is playing an IAS officer Abhiram Panja in the film who clashes with Ramya Krishna who is essaying the role of a wily political leader.

Deva Katta, who is known to mix political elements with commercial elements effectively has been working really hard on ‘Republic’. This genre is definitely his strength as proven by ‘Prasthanam’.

Venkatesh and Rana coming together for an exciting web series

Venkatesh and Rana will be soon seen in a web series for Netflix. Titled RanaNaidu, the show is an adaptation of the American crime drama ‘Ray Donovan’. The show is a hugely popular one and has broken multiple viewership records and picked up a number of awards.

Venkatesh and Rana will be pitted against each other and will be based on their rivalry and clashes. Taking to Twitter, the Drushyam actor made the announcement of the show.

This will be the second time the duo will be sharing the screen. The last time the two were seen together was in Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum back in 2012, when Venkatesh appeared for a special song.

Naga Chaitanya makes the much-awaited announcement

Looks like the Akkineni family has completely embraced the OTT wave that’s on right now. Firstly, it was Samantha who impressed in Aha’s Sam Jam and Amazon Prime’s Family Man 2 . This was followed by Nagarjuna who recently confirmed that he is doing a movie exclusively for an OTT platform. The discussions for this project were going on for quite some time and now finally the makers and Naga Chaitanya have locked a subject. The ‘Love Story’ actor will mark his OTT debut with a web series that will be directed by Vikram K Kumar. Interestingly, the show will be a horror series and Chaitu will be playing a negative role.

The young actor will join the project once he finishes his commitments with Amir Khan’s Lal Singh Chaddha and Thank You. Naga Chaitanya is also slated to feature in Bangaruraju, starring Nagarjuna.

It is known that the AP Government is showing enthusiasm for Tollywood movie tickets and the movie business as a whole for quite some time now. The state government has expressed discontentment over the fan shows, benefit shows, film ticket prices in AP. Whereas on the other hand, the Telugu film industry is facing several other issues in terms of its releases.

As per the latest G.O, the AP government has invited proposals for developing a new movie ticketing which will be maintained by its own body. WIth multiple changes happening in movie ticketing and AP government ordering strict guidelines on ticket prices, looks like the Benefit show hungama will soon come to an end in AP.

Film producer C.Kalyan, who bankrolls films under his CK Entertainments Private Limited said that the benefit shows will be stopped in the state as the taxes that are meant to be paid to the government are not paid for the government. A delegation of Tollywood producers met AP I&PR minister Perni Nani where this decision was made.
