Vishwambhara Team’s misstep

Vishwambhara starring Chiranjeevi is one of the most awaited projects of Tollywood. The film is not a regular commercial film and being made with a lavish budget with grand visuals. The team released the Glimpse of the film months ago and it attained criticism because of the poor visual setup.

The Team didn’t release any second Glimpse to raise expectations but just released a song on Hanuman Jayanthi. This proved to be a misstep from the Team. They should first show the budget and the span of the film to get a big business deal. The song was good, but the film must have a big promotional content and strategy.

If we look at the song, it appeared as a regular song shot on a set. So, these things may not get the expected business deal. The team must concentrate on the visuals first and showcase their grandeur on a big scale. The team hasn’t announced the release date as of yet. It is expected that the film may release at the end of July and there is a good time in between to plan proper promotional activity that involves visual grandeur.

Kollywood Director, A.R. Murugadoss was one of the finest Directors of Indian Cinema. He catapulted his stardom later with Ghajini in Bollywood as well. But, the Director saw back-to-back setbacks in the recent past with Spyder, Sarkar, and Darbar. He also suffered to get opportunity after Darbar and grabbed a chance to direct Siva Karthikeyan. But, unfortunately, he had to see another big disaster in the form of Sikandar recently.

Murugadoss raised the eyebrows when he convinced Salman Khan to star in Sikandar. The film was also made lavishly, but it became a failure after the release. Now, Murugadoss’ all hopes are on Madharasi starring Siva Karthikeyan. The film’s glimpse was also released recently and built a strong hype with great-making skills. The Glimpse also received 20 Million Views on YouTube in a month.

Madharasi is scheduled for release on 5th September worldwide. This is really a final opportunity for Murugadoss to prove himself. Siva Karthikeyan is riding high with the success of his previous film, Amaran. There will be humongous expectations on Madharasi naturally. OTT rights are said to be sold to Netflix. So, Murugadoss must satisfy the majority audience, and let’s see how he does that.

Manoj’s bond with Lakshmi Manchu surprises all

Tollywood Actor, Manchu Manoj has been in the limelight in recent times with his revolt against his brother, Manchu Vishnu, and Father, Mohanbabu. The Actor has also many times spoke against them in his interviews. It has been speculated that the Actor had issues with all the family members, but his bond with Lakshmi Manchu has surprised all now.

Manoj participated in an event recently where Lakshmi Manchu was also present. She broke into tears when Manoj approached her and this video has gone viral on social media platforms. Manoj’s wife was also seen consoling Lakshmi Manchu in the scene. This video showed that Manoj still maintains a strong bond with his sister, Lakshmi Manchu.

The HIT franchise takes a bold new turn with this film, as it shifts its focus to an antagonist-turned-protagonist narrative that adds depth to the investigative arc. While the background score could’ve packed more punch, the film thrives on Sanu Varghese’s striking cinematography and crisp, purposeful editing. 

Overall, Nani’s HIT 3 trailer is intense and destructive. It’s a well-crafted piece that marks a strong comeback for Sailesh and a clear step up in both storytelling and style. One can see Nani’s fierce cop mentality in the trailer as he takes a strong stand against criminals. He either wants to lock them behind 10-foot bars or bury them in a 6-foot grave. He needs to resolve the case of a kidnapped 9-month-old, and slowly, a need to confront the dark side of crime emerges.

This is one of Nani’s more challenging roles physically. He transitioned from a soft boy look to playing a tough cop, and his demeanor and facial expressions show the required ruthlessness.

Summer Season is usually the best season for any film Industry. Tollywood always used this season to produce many blockbusters in the past. But, surprisingly, it is now struggling to recover the theatre rents to say the least. There have been back to back bad weekends for the Film Industry.

This weekend, Tollywood has Jack and Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi releases. But, these didn’t attract the audiences as expected. Both films had a negligible opening at the box office and are heading towards disaster status. But, hopefully, the next weekend may bring some joy to the theatre owners with the releases of Odela 2 and Arjun S/O Vyjayanthi. Kannappa starring Manchu Vishnu was also postponed from April 25th. So, Odela 2 and Arjun S/O Vyjayanthi will have very good opportunities to post good numbers.
