That rumour about Mahesh- Trivikram movie is not true

It is a known fact that Superstar Mahesh Babu is going to collaborate with ace director Trivikram soon. The Mahesh- Trivikram film’s official announcement was made earlier this year and fans’ excitement now knows no bounds.

Amidst this excitement, a rumour started doing rounds that the film has been shelved. There is absolutely no truth to it and the movie is well on its track. The movie presently is in its pre-production stage.

This will be the third film for Mahesh-Trivikram after Athadu and Khaleja. The makers of the film, Haarika and Haasine Creations made an official announcement on this earlier this year much to the excitement of the movie lovers.

Pooja Hegde will be playing the lead role opposite Mahesh Babu while Lavanya Tripathi or Ritu Varma will be seen as the second lead.

Trivikram is taking a new subject this time around. The ace director’s previous subjects have been family entertainers but as per reports, he will show Mahesh in a new avatar.

The combination truly holds a special place in the hearts of film lovers as both Athadu and Khaleja have been iconic and trendsetting in their own ways. Athadu, over the years, has achieved cult status among movie lovers. Similarly, Khaleja introduced an all-new Mahesh to the fans.

Ravi Teja to feature on Balakrishna’s Unstoppable next week

Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja is all set to be the next celebrity guest on Balakrishna’s Unstoppable. The ‘Krack’ actor will come in as the next celebrity guest on the show along with Gopichand Malineni. Incidentally, Mallineni will be directing Balakrishna in his next film. The episode will premiere on December 24th.

Both Balakrishna and Ravi Teja have clashed multiple times at the box office previously. This episode will however be a different scene altogether and will see the two stars at their candid best. The shoot for the episode concluded recently and the fans of both the actors are eager to catch the two on screen for the first time.

Balakrishna’s Unstoppable has been on a roll right from the time the first episode aired on Aha. Brahmanandam, Superstar Mahesh Babu, SS Rajamouli, and now Ravi Teja are amongst several celebrities lined up for this talk show.

Nani’s Shaym Singha Roy is all set to release on 24th December. Ahead of its release, a grand pre-release event was also organized and it saw the movie’s entire cast and crew in its presence. The film is based on the reincarnation theme and the recently released trailer has heightened the expectations on the film.

The film is made on a massive scale and is Nani’s costliest film so far in terms of budget. Director Rahul Sankrityan recently revealed that Shyam Singha Roy is made on a budget of about Rs 60 crores.

Nani’s Shyam Singha Roy set in Kolkata explores the theme of reincarnation. The makers left no stone unturned to ensure the movie gets a grand look. For this purpose, a lavish set was also erected in the city outskirts. It is reported that the set cost the makers a whopping Rs 6.5 crores and was spread across 10 acres.

Sai Pallavi and Krithi Shetty will be seen opposite Nani. After successive OTT releases such as V and Tuck Jagadish, this will be Nani’s first theatrical release.

Bankrolled under Niharika Entertainment banner, Mickey J Meyer will be composing music for this supernatural thriller. The film will also have the additional cast of Madonna Sebastian and Murali Sharma in key roles.

Omicron is causing a serious concern among Pan Indian filmmakers. There are plenty of releases in the coming few weeks and Omicron could ruin their business.

Denmark, Ireland and Netherlands have already begun closing the theatres from today to prevent the further spread of Omicron.

Although this is commendable, this will be a serious blow for the Pan Indian biggies.

We hear that no indoor attractions are allowed in UK after Christmas for two weeks. Cinemas will be shutdown for this period. This might even extend based on the Omicron cases being reported in UK.

This is bad news for biggies like RRR, Bheemla Nayak, Radhe Shyam.

RRR team have been going all in to promote their film.

They’ve also planned a grand event in Mumbai Film City tomorrow. All their promotions might go to waste if Omicron continues it’s spread.

Bheemla Nayak and Radhe Shyam have been promoted fairly less and will incur minimum loss in terms of promotion.

SS Rajamouli to present Ranbir Kapoor’s Brahmastra in southern languages

Brahmastra starring Ranbir Kapoor, Nagarjuna, Amitabh Bachchan, and Alia Bhatt has got a massive boost. The superhero film which is directed by Ayan Mukherjee will be presented by SS Rajamouli in the southern languages.

Brahmastra has been in making for quite some time and the anticipation has now risen to great heights with this interesting announcement. SS Rajamouli made this announcement at a glittering Telugu motion poster launch event held in Hyderabad earlier today.

Karan Johar, whose Dharma Productions is producing this big-budget extravaganza had announced this film way back in 2017. Both Karan Johar and SS Rajamouli share a great professional and personal rapport. Ranbir will play a superhero in the film while Nagarjuna will essay the role of an archeologist. Amitabh Bachchan will feature as a professor and Alia Bhatt as Ranbir’s love interest.

The film will be released in three parts and is one of the most awaited pan-India films at the moment. Brahmastra is slated to release on 9th September 2022 and the subsequent parts will be announced soon.

Multiplex faces fine as annoyed moviegoer goes to court

Watching a movie should be a relaxing and entertaining experience and not a grueling and patience-testing session. This is exactly what’s been happening with a lot of moviegoers, especially in multiplexes. Certain multiplexes are notorious for running 15-20 minutes of advertisements before the movie and often do not start the show on time as mentioned on the ticket.

While many people often turn a blind eye against it, one person decided enough is enough and moved legally. The individual in question is Hyderabad-based RTI activist Vijay Gopal who took legal action against multiplex Inox Kachiguda in Hyderabad. The authorities found the multiplex guilty under Unfair Trade & Deficiency of Service.

The whole issue started back in June 2019 when Vija went to watch ‘Game Over’ film in Inox Kachiguda. The movie started at 4:45 instead of 4:30 as mentioned on the ticket. After speaking to the manager, Vijay moved to the consumer forum.

The theater managed in a reply to the complaint said that it had a right to place advertisements under Article 19 (1) (A).

The consumer forum ordered Inox Kachiguda to pay a fine of Rs 1 lakh and also award Rs 10,000/- to the activist as compensation.

Prabhas’ Radhe Shyam pre-release event to be the first of its kind!

Prabhas and Pooja Hegde’s Radhe Shyam is all set for a grand release on January 14th. The film is one of the most awaited pan-India projects from Tollywood and will compete directly with another biggie RRR and Pawan Kalyan’s Bheemla Nayak.

The makers of the film are planning to ramp up the promotions in the coming days. Already a couple of singles and teasers that have been released have received a positive response. Now the makers are gearing up to release the much-awaited trailer of the film.

The trailer of the film will be released at the grand pre-release event. The event will be held on 23rd December at Ramoji Film City. The event will be the first of its kind and will be a national-level event with representation from all across India. The most special thing about the event is that the trailer launch will be done by the fans. This will be the first time such an occurrence would be taking place in Indian film history.

Radha Krishna is directing this film while Justin Prabhakaran has composed music for the Telugu version while Mithoon and Amaal Malik and Manan Bharadwaj have composed music for Hindi. Some songs of the movie are catered especially to Bollywood audiences while some others are for South Indian audiences.

Pushpa team decides to remove that controversial scene from the film

Allu Arjun’s Pushpa has got off to a resounding start at the box- office. Despite the mixed reviews, the film has been performing pretty strong across the regions and has given sensational day 1 figure. Amidst this day one euphoria, the makers have now decided to delete one particular scene from tomorrow.

The scene in question is the van scene between Allu Arjun and Rashmika. This hot and romantic scene between the lead pair will be removed from the film from Sunday onwards. The van scene reportedly made many family audiences uncomfortable with it.

Meanwhile, Pushpa is continuing its terrific run on day 2 as well. The film has already stood as Allu Arjun and Sukumar’s 2nd best film in terms of US Premiere collections.

Domestically as well this action entertainer created many records on day one. It has created All-Time Record in Nizam beating the previous best Saaho. The movie performed well in Andhra, but due to regulated prices and shows, it just attained decent revenue.

Karan Johar And Salman Khan To Host RRR Event

The RRR team has roped in Karan Johar and Salman Khan for their grand event in Mumbai. The makers have approached Karan Johar to host the event and Salman Khan will be the chief guest for the event.

The makers of RRR have been amping up their promotions ever since the trailer of RRR was released. The actors have done press meets in all the major Indian cities, promoting the film. They took a break in promotions due to the release of Pushpa, and are now back, bigger than ever.

The team has lined up a grand event at Mumbai Film City with Karan Johar hosting the proceedings. Karan Johar is also reportedly going to be shooting a special segment of FilteRRR coffee with Karan. Salman Khan will be attending the event as a special guest.

The streaming rights for the event have been acquired by the top television channel Star Plus. The event is likely to release on the eve of New Year.

RRR is all set for a grand theatrical release on 7th January. The film stars Ram Charab, Jr.NTR, Alia Bhatt, and Ajay Devgn in prominent roles. SS Rajamouli has directed the film. DVV Dannaya has produced the film under DVV Entertainments.
