Venkatesh To Team Up With Top Director For His 75th Film

Matala Maantrikudu Trivikram Srinivas directorial Ala Vaikuntapuramulo overwrites all the previous records and became the highest non-BB grosser. After this, Trivikram announced his next project with NTR. But NTR is currently working for RRR which is left with a 30% shoot. So, #NTR30 may not find its sets this year.

As Trivikram has got plenty of time, he is planning to finalize his next projects. Now, he is making talks with a star hero Victory Venkatesh for his next. Trivikram earlier worked in the writing department of Venky’s movies like Nuvvu Naaku Nachaav and Malliswari. Trivikram and Venkatesh have already announced a project 3 years back under Haarika & Hassine Creations banner but that couldn’t materialize due to some unknown reasons. Trivikram recently narrated a script to Venky and he also reacted positively. If this happens, the much-anticipated combo Trivikram-Venky will be set with #Venky75.

Venkatesh is currently working for Narappa, a remake of a Tamil movie Asuran. So let’s wait to know more about this project. Keep watching our space for more updates.

Rajamouli About RRR Release

After India’s Biggest Blockbuster Baahubali 2, director S.S Rajamouli has announced a massive multi-starrer #RRR which stars Ram Charan and NTR. This film went on sets in the first half of 2019. and scheduled to releases in Summer 2020. Due to delay in shoot and team is looking to have long post-production so Rajamouli has decided to push to Sankranthi 2021.

But as the virus outbreak has hit badly across the world all the works have been paused for more than 4 months. Rajamouli’s #RRR works have been stopped from the last 5 months and they are not in a mood to start the shoot soon. Recently Ram Charan has said that they will go on sets only once everything gets under control. And yesterday Rajamouli speaking about the RRR release has mentioned that it would take nearly another 6-7 months after the film resumes it’s shoot. So definitely RRR will be moving to the end of 2021 if they start the shoot either in December or January.

Makers About 83 And Sooryavanshi Release

Bollywood has already announced over a dozen movies for direct OTT release including the films featuring star heroes like Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgan. Already, some of them got released and receiving positive responses from the viewers.

Diving into the details, CEO of Reliance Entertainments shared that they don’t want to push the release dates of 83 and Sooryavanshi further. Sooryavanshi is scheduled for Diwali and 83 for Christmas. Makers also mentioned that they are confident about the improvement of theatrical exibition business and wait for theatrical release.

Sooryavanshi is a cop-drama directed by Rohith Shetty and this is his third movie coming in cop backdrop after Singham and Shimbha. The earlier cop films were remade from the South but this time Rohith goes with own script. Katrina Kaif is paired opposite to Akshay and SS Thaman composed a single from this album.

83 is a sports drama featuring Ranveer Singh as the main lead. 83 is based on the life story of Indian maiden world cup captain Kapil Dev which is being directed by Bajrangi Bhaijaan fame Kabir Khan and features Deepika as a wife to Kapil Dev. Pritam and Julius Packiam are composing tunes for this movie.

However, as of now, there is no update on reopening the theatres and may take a long time. Should wait and see how these movies perform if it is released theatrically.

Anil Ravipudi’s Comedy Flick Get’s A Title And Two Young Actors

Anil Ravipudi is known for commercial movies with a comedy punchline and seen the high success rate in the industry. 4 out of his 5 movies were produced by Dil Raju only. Dil Raju bankrolled all Anil Ravipudi’s films except his debut Pataas. Now yet another project is locked in their combination.

As we reported earlier, Anil is working on a script after he finished the script of F3. Now, this script is finalized and will be produced by Dil Raju but this time Anil is limited to the only story and screenplay writer. Trinadha Rao Nakkina who earlier worked in Dil Raju’s camp for Nenu Local and Hello Guru Premakosame will be directing this project.

It is said to be a fun-packed family entertainer reportedly titled Naalugu Sthambalata which revolves around the four main characters. It features two young heroes as the male leads for which Supreme hero Sai Dharam Tej and Bellam Konda Sai Srinivas are being considered. However, an official announcement will be made in a few days along with the other details of cast and crew.

Chiru Says No To Koratla Siva’s Plan

Mega Star Chiranjeevi who is made his come back to film with Khaidi No 150 is currently working with director Kotata Siva for a commercial entertainer. This film is launched in 2019 and completed a few schedules.

The title of this film has been finalized as Acharya and makers have earlier planned to release it during the independence weekend. As the shooting of this film has been halted the release is pushed to 2021. Recently the makers have announced that the first look along with Motion Poster to be out on 22nd August on the occasion of Mega Star Birthday. Not only these, but Kortala Siva has also planned a teaser that has a dialogue. But Chiranjeevi is not interested to reveal it now and asked Siva not to release any Teaser.

The teaser of Acharya may be out during the Dusshera season. Mani Sharma is composing tunes for this film and Ram Charan is producing this film under Konidela Productions along with Matinee Entertainments.

Producer Allu Aravind, last year announced high budget mythological series of films based on Ramayana. This PAN Indian film was planned in three parts and the budget estimation was not less than 1000 crores. Chichore fame Nitesh Tiwari was roped in as a director and Hrithik Roshan was supposed to act in the main lead as Lord Rama. But now, many reports say that this project is shelved.

It is known that Allu Aravind launched his OTT platform AHA and he shifts his complete focus to make Aha as an OTT giant during this pandemic situation. Though we don’t the reason behind the deferment of Allu Aravind’s mythological project, many stories are surfing on the internet showing Prabhas’ Adipurush as the main reason. Prabhas’ new project was announced under the direction of Om Raut which will be bankrolled by T-Series. However, Prabhas shatters Allu Aravind’s dream project unintentionally.

Today Prabhas along with Bollywood director Raut has announced their new film which is titled “Adipurush”. This project is said to be made on 3D which is an adaptation of Ramayana. Bollywood star hero will also be part of this project where Bhushan Kumar of T-Series will be bankrolling this project. Reports say that this project will be made with more than 400Crs budget and set a new benchmark in the Indian Film Industry.
