NTR’s Devara: The team is filming a big action sequence with lead cast

NTR is currently working with Koratala Siva on a massive action entertainer which is being made on a grand scale. It is very well known to everyone that it’s his 30th movie. The makers of the movie have managed to raise the anticipation levels around the first look and title reveal of the movie and when unveiled the first look poster of NTR along with the title recently, it received a superb response poster. The movie is officially titled Devara and according to the latest reports, the team is filming a big action sequence with the lead cast.

It is being reported that the present schedule is going on full swing. Currently, the shooting is happening between NTR, Saif Ali Khan and Malayalam Actor Shine Tom Chacko was recently seen in Nani’s Dasara. Kalayirasan and Narine are also part of the shoot. Reportedly the unit of Devara is filming a major and high-octane action sequences which is happening under the supervision of Kenny Bates.

The first look showed NTR in an astonishing avatar holding a dagger. His intense expression and unmatched plunder will surely give goosebumps to his fans and the mass audience as well. The first-look poster had undoubtedly lived up to the hype set by the makers, and NTR fans were delighted to see their favorite hero in a ferocious avatar. The makers already revealed that the film would have the backdrop of the forgotten coastal lands of India, and the first look poster assured the same again.

Bollywood beauty, late Sridevi’s daughter Janhvi Kapoor plays the lead actress in the movie, while Saif Ali Khan plays the antagonist against NTR. Hari Krishna K and Mikkilineni Sudhakar are producing this movie under NTR Arts and Yuva Sudha Arts banners. The film has its music composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Devara will be released on worldwide screens on 5th April 2024.

Everyone expected that the fans of Balakrishna will celebrate this event grandly, but the re-release of the film became a disastrous affair, which is very shocking. It can be said that the failure of Narasimha Naidu re-release is the effect of NTR fans not participating actively in the event.

The recent trend of old blockbusters re-releases has become like a battlefield among the fans of Telugu Star Heroes. So with every new re released film, the competition for creating records has tightened. In that situation, Narasimha Naidu getting disastrous result has come as a shocker for Nandamuri fans.

Mohanlal’s Blockbuster Lucifer sequel shooting plan is locked

Mohanlal’s Lucifer was released back in 2019 and took the Kerala box office by storm. It went on to become the highest-grossing Malayalam film of all time and no film has managed to even come close to breaking this record.

With the ending of Lucifer, it was very clear that there is a lot of scope to expand Lucifer into a franchise. Since then fans and movie lovers have been eagerly waiting for more updates regarding the sequel of Lucifer.

Finally, the announcement regarding Lucifer 2 came in the last year August, which is titled Empuraan. Prithviraj Sukumaran who played a key role in Lucifer as both actor and director is at the helm of affairs. Veteran Malayalam actor Murali Gopi is back as the screenwriter. Now it is said that the shooting plan of this sequel is locked.

It is being reported that the Malayalam Megastar Mohanlal will start the shooting of his big budget action extravaganza Empuraan aka Lucifer 2 soon. The film will be directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran and the shoot will start in the first week of September. The schedule will happen in Noida & Ladakh & later in foreign locations.The movie is said to be the biggest budget film in Malayalam Industry.

Lucifer, which marked the directorial debut of Prithviraj Sukumaran, was released in 2019 and became a huge success. The film, written by Murali Gopy, had Mohanlal as the lead, while Vivek Oberoi, Manju Warrier, Tovino Thomas and Indrajith Sukumaran played the other major roles. The team announced the sequel Empuraan, which will also be produced by Antony Perumbavoor’s Aashirvad Cinemas.

S Thaman is one of the busiest music directors in South India. In 2022, he gave music to films such as Bheemla Nayak, Sarkaru Vaari Paata, Godfather, and Prince among others. He also provided BGM for Radhe Shyam and was quite instrumental in giving chart busters last year. From big Heroes to young stars, he is working on many films, but it seems like thaman has his best work in store for Nandamuri Balakrishna only as he is delivering best for the latter’s movies continuously.

It is very well known to everyone that Thaman gave music for Balakrishna – Boyapati’s Akhanda and Thaman’s background score and songs became huge plus for the movie and especially the background music was regarded as the major asset for the film. Even for the next film of Balayya, Veera Simha Reddy thaman did a terrific job.

Now he did the same for me the latest upcoming film of Balakrishna, Bhagavanth Kesari. The film’s teaser released recently and the BGM is getting an Extraordinary response. Thaman’s work for his recent films’ teaser, and songs had received mixed responses, but for Balakrishna movies Thaman is getting unanimous positive response. As said above, he is delivering the best for Balakrishna’s movies continuously.

2023 also promises to be a massive year for Thaman. He’s already working on RC 15 and was recently confirmed for Pawan Kalyan’s OG.

2018 Movie the latest Malayalam film was a surprise hit at the box office, and it even went on to become the highest grosser of Mollywood and achieved the industry hit status. After such big success, it got released in other languages as well. However, excluding Telugu language, it became a big failure in other markets and even in Telugu also the film did not create any magic like Kantara and ended up with just good numbers. 2018 movie was released on OTT recently, and it is getting mixed response from the other language audiences.

After releasing in OTT the film, 2018 is receiving mixed response as many of the audience felt that the movie is not on par with the unanimous talk it got during the theatrical release, and they are telling it’s just a decent movie and a few sections of people feel the movie is boring too. Only a few sections of people are liking the movie. The movie did not get the unanimous response like Kantara and a few netizens are stating that the content of the film is limited to only the Malayalam audience.

However, it should be noted that the 2018 movie is not a film which has a larger than life character like the KGF Series, nor it has big action sequences like the mighty RRR. Also, comparing the film, 2018 with Kantara is also not right because the latter has full of mass elements mixed with a fantasy touch. The 2018 movie is a survival thriller based on real life events, and it will have the right impact only in the theaters due to the technical excellence like VFX and background score, which did not have the same impact in the OTT viewing.

The film features a massive ensemble cast comprising Tovino Thomas, Indrans, Kunchacko Boban, Aparna Balamurali, Vineeth Sreenivasan, Asif Ali, Lal, and Narain among others. Jude Anthony Joseph directed this film, which was well appreciated for its thrilling elements and natural depiction of the 2018 floods.

Differences crop up between Nikhil and Spy producer

Nikhil’s upcoming pan-India project Spy is his most ambitious project so far. The recently released trailer managed to impress all its quite evident from it that the movie is being shot on a massive scale with good production and technical values. However, there seems to be a small issue with the movie’s release date between Nikhil and the producer.

Spy’s producers want to release the film as planned on 29th June. But, Nikhil wants to take some more time to finish post-production works and later publicity works. Which is why he asked the producers to wait for one more month. The producers are not too keen on this delay as all the business deals are locked as per June 29th release date. If the release date is postponed now, then all business deals will be affected.

Nikhil, on the other hand, doesn’t want to rush into anything and wants to score a massive pan-India hit to carry forward his streak after Karthikeya 2. The actor reportedly is not cooperating to finish the post-production works due to these differences. Interestingly, a romantic first single was released from the movie which Nikhil didn’t even share on his social media. It needs to be seen what will be the outcome.

Iswarya Menon and Sanya Thakur play the female leads in this action thriller directed by Garry BH. Aryan Rajesh and Abhinav Gomatam will also be seen in key roles in Spy. K Rajashekhar Reddy has produced also and written the script for the movie. The action-packed spy thriller will be released simultaneously in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.

Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Kaaram is in its production stage at the moment and after the recent ‘Mass Strike’, the hype created for this project is quite surreal. Already the Guntur Kaaram team has taken a very long time to restart the movie after 1st schedule completion. Nikhil’s Pan India film Spy in talks for release postponement

Nikhil’s upcoming Pan India thriller film Spy, which is based on the unseen story and the secrets of Subhash Chandrabose, was launched recently at Kartavya Path (Raj Path) in New Delhi. This is the First-Ever movie teaser launch at this iconic landmark. The teaser of Spy got a tremendous response and the audiences were waiting to see the film on the big screen. However, it is said that this pan India film is in talks to postpone its release.

The film was scheduled for 29th June release but according to the reports, it is said that the post-production works of the film are still pending. The team is now in plans to postpone the release date and an official announcement regarding the same is expected to be out soon. It is also being reported that the producer of the film was very keen to release the film on June 29th but the hero of the film, Nikhil Siddhartha, made him agree to the postponement as the work is still pending, and they need to have a bit of time for the promotions of the film as well.

The teaser of Spy begins with Makrand Deshpande explaining to his team about Bhagwan Ji Files, which is nothing but India’s best-kept secret, creator of Azad Hind Fauj, idealist, and freedom fighter Subhash Chandrabose. He calls the death of Netaji in an airplane crash a story of concealment. The spy played by Nikhil is given the responsibility of solving the mystery. And then everything we see is extravagant action in the other parts of the teaser.

Producer Abhishek Aggarwal has already announced that he will be buying more than 10,000 tickets. Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor is also buying 10,000 tickets. As the release of Adipurush is nearing, the interest in the audience towards the film is increasing.
