Actress Krithi Shetty has quickly made a career in the South Indian Cinema. She is a favorite among the fans and industry circles as well. However, similar to many heroines, along with her success, some rumors around Krithi have also increased. Recently, a statement was circulated as hers. Now the actress made everything clear. Krithi Shetty went on her social media account to deny the rapid news being reported on her.

In the last few days, there has been a rumor that Krithi Shetty may have made some comments when she was supposedly speaking to the media. It was falsely reported that the actress had revealed that she had been harassed by the son of a star hero. Rumors even claimed that the hero’s son followed her non-stop wherever she went. Furthermore, the false allegations claimed that the star son called Krithi everywhere and that he wanted her to always accompany him wherever he went.

Now, the Uppena actress has spoken about the fake news and rumors. She took to her social media platform and stated that these reports were false and that she had never said anything of this sort.

The actress wrote, “Please stop cooking up stories and spreading wrong information.” Further, elaborating her side, she added, “Thought I’d ignore this since it’s such a baseless rumor, but it is getting blown out of proportion.” From the statement that the actress put out, it was clear that she was only explaining herself as the rumors were getting out of hand.

Prabhas’s Project K is all set to create the history and proud moment for Indian cinema

The much-anticipated high-budget Indian science fiction film, currently known as Project K, is all set to create the history and make the Indian Cinema proud by unveiling an exclusive footage of it in the presence of talent at the San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC).

Produced by C. Ashwini Dutt’s Vyjayanthi Movies, the film is directed by “Mahanati” fame Nag Ashwin and stars an huge ensemble of star cast in the form of Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani.

Starting the SDCC celebration, Vyjayanthi Movies will show a glimpse from the film as a part of an opening night party on July 19. On July 20, the Project K team will host a panel titled “This is Project K: First Glimpse of India’s Mythology-Sci-fi Epic” with Deepika Padukone, Prabhas and Kamal Haasan during which the film’s full title, teaser trailer and release date will be revealed. It is also said that the stars will feature in a performance on SDCC’s largest stage.

“This exclusive event will transport guests into India’s most ambitious cinematic universe yet with their captivating storytelling, futuristic setting, and ‘Spice Punk’ aesthetic inspired by the film,” the producers said in a statement. This is the first time ever feat by an Indian film and indeed, Project K will create a history with this.

Prabhas has became a Pan Indian star after S.S. Rajamouli’s Baahubali franchise. His latest film “Adipurush,” which was released recently in the theaters, became a massive failure at the box office after having a good first weekend. Actress Deepika Padukone starred alongside Shah Rukh Khan in “Pathaan,” the all-time biggest hit of Bollywood.

Kamal Haasan who will be seen in the antagonist role in Project K, starred in and produced “Vikram,” one of the biggest hits of 2022, and he has “Indian 2” set to be released next year. Amitabh Bachchan starred in films like “Uunchai” and “Brahmastra Part One: Shiva,” while Patani was last seen in “Ek Villain Returns” (2022) before Project K.

Virupaksha delivers good rating on Television premiere

Starring Sai Dharam Tej and Samyuktha as the lead pair, the movie is directed by Karthik Varma Dandu. The film was released in April month, and it received a positive response from the audience and critics as well. Virupaksha became the highest grosser in Sai Dharam Tej’s career by collecting over 45 Crores share worldwide.

Now the World Television Premiere Of Virupaksha On Star MAA Gets 11.68 TRP In Urban And 10.03 TRP In U+R Markets. This is a superb performance, and we have to say that Virupaksha has delivered a good rating on its television premiere.

Virupaksha movie’s story is set in the mystic village Rudravanam where Surya comes with his mother to meet his family. He falls in love with Nandini. Love starts to blossom between them, but suddenly the village people get killed one by one in suspicious circumstances. Surya starts chasing the mystery behind the mysterious deaths of the village. How does he get to solve this mystery is what forms the rest of the story.

Along with Sai Dharam Tej and Samyuktha Menon in the lead roles, this movie has an ensemble cast of Ajay, Rajeev Kanakala, Sai Chand, Brahmaji, Shyamala, Soniya Singh, and Sunil. It was released in theaters on April 21st, 2023. Virupaksha is directed by Karthik Dandu and is produced by BVSN Prasad under the banners of Sri Venkateshwara Cine Chitra and Sukumar Writings. B Ajaneesh Lokanath composed music for the film.

Latest Good thriller Chakravyuham is streaming on OTT

Tollywood’s latest good thriller, Chakravyuham starring Ajay in the lead role, is now streaming on OTT on Amazon Prime Video. Touted to be a murder mystery thriller, the movie has made its OTT debut. Directed by Madhusudan, the film stars newcomers and upcoming actors along with Ajay.

Apart from Ajay, the film also stars Gyaneshwari Kandrangula, Vivek Trivedi and Urvashi Pardeshi in the lead roles. The film, which was released in theaters on June 2, had garnered decent talk from the audiences but failed to make a good impact at the box office. The film was released in the theaters by Mythri Movie Makers. A month after its theatrical release, the film has come to OTT.

Ajay played the role of a CI named Satya in the film. Sanjay is a businessman whose wife and his best friend are killed under unforeseen circumstances. The remaining story is all about how the character of CI Satya broke the mystery behind these murders and punished the culprits.

Ajay’s role and performance in the film was praised. After a long gap, Ajay played the lead role in this movie. In the past, Ajay has acted as a hero in Sarai veerraju and a few other films. However, he was unable to impress the audiences as a hero compared to his villain characters. Currently, he is busy doing different characters in Telugu. Ajay was recently seen in the role of Aghora in Sai Dharam Tej’s Virupaksha.

Rangabali Movie Review – An Inadequate Entertainer

Story: Shaurya is a happy-go-lucky guy who does not take his life seriously, and he wants to stay in his hometown for a lifetime and mainly has an attachment to the center named Rangabali. For a reason, he comes to Vizag and falls in love with Sahaja, a medico student. Sahaja also falls for Shaurya and when everything seems to go smoothly, Sahaja’s father does not agree to the marriage. Why did he take that decision? What connection does Shaurya have with the Rangabali Center? Answers to these questions form the rest of the story.

Analysis: Debutante director Pawan Basamsetti made it clear with the promos that his film, Rangabali is aimed at entertaining the audiences. He was very much glued on to the target in the first half where things worked well. The hero’s introduction and his bonding family, friends, and his hometown were well established. The combination scenes between Naga Shaurya and Satya came out very well and the romance track with the heroine was also good.

Towards the interval, the movie hints at a serious turn in the second half and though the initial portions seem to work, slowly the narrative drops and never gets back. The flashback, which was too routine and melodramatic, did not add any value to the film. Also, the scenes towards climax looked very silly for the premise it had.

Performances: Naga Shaurya looked good and tried his best to excel, but his character lacked the energy in the second half. Comedian Satya got a meaty role, and he did full justice to it. Actress Yukti Thareja was fine, and she looked damn hot in one song. Shine Tom Chacko Was Fine. Murali Sharma, Goparaju Ramana, Subhalekha Sudhakar, and Sarath Kumar were ok.

Plus Points:

  • Few dialogues

Minus Points:

  • Dull second half
  • Routine flashback
  • Songs

Verdict:

Overall, Rangabali could have been a nice entertainer if the second half had been handled well. The fun filled first half, comedian Satya’s role work for the film but the dragged and boring moments, routine flashback portions work against it. You can watch the movie only if you can overlook the flaws in it.

It has been just a few hours since the release of Prashant Neel’s magnum opus Saalar and the opinions and breakdowns have already started. Since Salaar is the next big thing from Prashant Neel after his KGF series, there are a lot of questions and a lot of excitement regarding Salaar. Who is Salaar? What is the connection to KGF?

While the public opinion is mostly overwhelmingly positive, a certain someone seems to have been bothered by the Salaar teaser. And that someone is none other than The Kashmir Files director Vivek Agnihotri.

Within a few hours of the release of the teaser, director Vivek Agnihotri took to Twitter to voice his opinion in the form of a series of tweets.

His first tweet read out, “People aren’t born violent. Your children’s minds are conditioned by glamourizing violence in popular literature, cinema, and politics by industry leaders who should be actually inspiring young minds for peace.” While this might seem like a fairly harmless tweet, it is the next few tweets that will help better understand what he is trying to say.

His next tweet read, “Now glamourizing extreme violence in cinema is also considered talent. Promoting nonsense cinema is considered a bigger talent. Promoting a non-actor as biggest star is considered the biggest talent. And assuming the audience is super-dumb is mother of all talent.”

He also praised Tom Cruise’s upcoming Mission Impossible film while saying this:

“Extraordinary. Experiment. Innovation. Engineering. Execution. The world of extraordinary action cinema –

I hope someday we build something like this instead of just building a star image.”

And for the final confirmation, “We have also made such grand films with great engineering and powerful stories. Sholay, for example. But now everyone believes dumbing down the audience, creating marketing hype and nonsense action with loud sound can make a film hit. Looking at Indian BO, it’s true also.”

When these tweets are read in isolation, they might appear harmless. But it is very clear from the timing that it is a dig at the makers of Salaar.

Amidst all of the talk around Salaar, it looks like Vivek Agnihotri is planning to clash with Salaar. The director, who took the country by storm with his film The Kashmir Files in 2022, is planning on releasing his next film on the same date as the release of Prabhas’ Salaar, which is on 28th, September 2023.

Reports are suggesting that Vivek’s next movie The Vaccine War is eyeing a September 28th release date. Even in the past, Vivek Agnihotri’s The Kashmir Files had clashed with Prabhas’ Radhe Shyam on March 11th, 2022.

This might as well be true because according to Vivek Agnihotri’s tweets, it looks like the director is not too fond of Prabhas or Prashant Neel. Just hours after the release of Salaar’s teaser, the director was seen making multiple tweets, indirectly aimed at the team of Salaar.

Anirudh Ravichander has been one of the most consistent and successful music directors in South India in recent times. Irrespective of whether it is Tamil or Telugu, Anirudh has been delivering chartbusters after chartbusters. Jersey and Agnyathaavasi in Telugu and countless blockbuster albums in Tamil.

But off late it looks like Anirudh has not been able to bring that old charm to his music. The songs are still full of energy and the beats are good but still, there is still some of his magic missing.

Previously, the much-awaited first single from Leo, Naa Ready failed to meet expectations. It did not sound like the Anirudh that we are used to hearing. And now again, with the first single of Jailer, Kaavaala, it sounds like a generic song from Anirudh.

Having said that, every artist has a few songs that miss the mark. As they say, class is permanent, form is temporary. So let us hope that Anirudh comes back with a bang with the rest of the songs.

Recently, the Bhola Shankar team wrapped up the entire shooting part and on course for the upcoming proceedings. Director Meher Ramesh took to his social media account to reveal the entire shooting of Bhola Shankar was completed. He thanked the cast and crew with his whole heart, who are working non-stop day and night. Meher also said that post-production works going on in full swing. Moreover, promotions and song releases from the unit are ahead.

Keerthy Suresh plays Chiranjeevi’s sister in this mass action entertainer, and Tamannaah is the female lead. The promotions for the film will start very soon. Mahati Swara Sagar is scoring the music and background score. Anil Sunkara’s AK Entertainments are the producers.
