Vishwak Sen completely in a new avatar for Gangs of Godavari

Young actor Vishwak Sen who has made a nice image for himself as an actor within a very short span of career, and he will be seen in a completely new avatar in the upcoming rural action drama, titled Gangs of Godavari. The film’s title and first glimpse have been unveiled today.

Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas have been successful in producing good content-driven films recently. Young talent and good scripts are being encouraged by the Producers Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya who are trying their best to provide quality entertainment to the movie lovers.

They have joined forces with a young and energetic star, Mass Ka Das, Vishwak Sen. In this new movie, reportedly he is acting in a character which has gray shades. Until now, the film has been called VS11 and the team has announced its title as Gangs of Godavari this morning.

Srikara Studios is presenting the film. Yuvan Shankar Raja is composing the music for the movie. In the movie, actress Anjali is also playing an important character. Krishna Chaitanya is the writer and director of the film. More than 50% of the shooting has been completed. Gandhi is handling Production Design and Navin Nooli is editing the film.

Bro The avatar has ordinary 1st weekend at box office

Bro The Avatar, the latest fantasy entertainer directed by actor and director Samuthirakani, and starring Pawan Kalyan and Sai Dharam Tej was released on July 28th, this Friday on worldwide screens. The film did not have much hype of a star hero’s film before the release because of the normal promotional content, still it had registered decent numbers, but if we look as a whole Bro The Avatar had an ordinary 1St weekend at the box office.

The film has to collect 100 Crores share to become a hit and it has collected close to 56 Crores worldwide share for the 1St weekend. In Telugu states the film has collected more than 45 Crores and for breakeven it has to collect another 35 Crores share, coming to the rest of India, the film’s performance was good but overseas has been the biggest disappointing territory of the film.

Bro The Avatar witnessed a big drop at the overseas after the premier and to achieve breakeven it needs to collect more than 12 Crores share, but the 1st weekend share is less than 6 Crores which is not at all encouraging and the film is expected to get big loss here. We have to wait and see how the film will perform after an ordinary 1St weekend. Today is the most crucial day for the film at the box office.

The team of Bro has opted for the regular G. O ticket prices in both the Telugu states and which is why it is not having any ticket hikes. Moreover, there are no many hires for the film, so the box office numbers not being bigger compared to other big star films is not a shocking thing.

Titled Bhagavanth Kesari, this film has Kajal Aggarwal as the main female lead and Sreeleela will be seen as Balayya’s daughter. The Telugu film trade council elections are finally over today. From 7 a.m. onwards, there was a lot of hungama regarding the elections. This time, the competition had happened between C Kalyan and Dil Raju for the post of president. Both panels were full of blaming each other with allegations during the campaign.

However, Dil Raju won the elections in the end. Dil Raju got 563 of the total 1,567 votes and C Kalyan got 497 votes in this crucial election, which is held every two years. The elected members represent various segments of the film industry, including exhibitors, distributors, directors and studio owners, and they will serve for the period from 2023 to 2025. Dil Raju’s panel won seven of the 12 seats in the producer sector.

Six each from two panels in the distribution sector received victories. Those who were unanimously elected in the exhibitors’ sector are also likely to support Dil Raju. 

In the producers’ category, seven out of 12 from Dil Raju’s panel won. Dil Raju, Damodar Prasad, Mohan Vadlapati, Sravanthi Ravikishore, Padmini, Ravishankar Yelamanchili and Mohan Goud won from Dil Raju’s panel in the producers category. This created a festive atmosphere at the film chamber, with Dil Raju emerging as the winner in the elections.

Pawan Kalyan and Sai Dharam Tej’s fantasy entertainer Bro The Avatar has been released this Friday with massive anticipation among the fans. The film had a relatively low buzz before the release, and the initial talk and response from the overseas shows was also not that great. Subsequently, the film opened with excellent numbers on Overseas premiers and in the Telugu states as well on day 1. The film is now rocking at the box office as it had a super strong Sunday.

The film is rocking on today with extraordinary Matinée and night shows. Many theaters and shows have been added and all the shows went housefull. In the Telugu film industry, successful directors becoming producers or writers and introducing their assistants as directors is a normal thing. Many directors have done this in the past and if we come to the recent days, star directors Trivikram and Sukumar have made it a habit to involve in other films as a writer and producer.

With Rangasthalam Sukumar had received an excellent praise in the regional cinema while with Pushpa part 1 he had created a big brand national wide. On the other hand, Trivikram is a big brand in Tollywood for a long time. After the Rajamouli, Sukumar and Trivikram are the biggest brands in Tollywood and, as said above, they are constantly getting involved and producing other films. However, in this process, Trivikram is failing to match the brand mark of Sukumar.

Whichever movie, Trivikram has involved, sadly failed to create a big impact like Sukumar’s films. He provided the story for Nithin’s Chal Mohan Ranga but the film became a failure at the box office. We know that he also worked on Pawan Kalyan’s Bheemla Nayak which could not impress all section of audiences and now the latest film Bro has also received mixed talk, and it is underperforming at the box office.

On the other side Sukumar had tasted with good success with films like Kumari 21F, Uppena, and Virupaksha. All the films were super successful and became big blockbusters and mainly these films offered great quality and writing. In this aspect, Sukumar is now miles ahead of Trivikram and the latter is failing to match the brand and mark of the former.
