He is currently acting in a village drama titled Ambajipeta Marriage Band. The film is directed by Dushyant Katineni. The film’s teaser has been released recently, and it is interesting and entertaining at the same time.

The teaser, which started with the band’s music, went on to showing the moments of love, fun, and action. Suhas was seen in the role of marriage band leader Malli. The romantic chemistry between the hero and heroine is good. Suhas has done some serious acting as well as fights. At the end of the teaser, he seemed to have lost someone as he gets his head tonsured.

The film also stars Goparaju Ramana and Jagdish Pratap Bandari of Pushpa fame in pivotal roles. Geetha Arts 2, Mahayana Motion Pictures and Dheeraj Mogilineni Entertainment have jointly produced the film. Mahayana Motion Pictures, is Director Venkatesh Maha’s production house. Sekhar Chandra has composed the music for the film. Wajid Baig has handled the cinematography.

Prabhas and Nayanthara had formerly worked together in Yogi. Now it is being reported that the names of Daggubati Rana and Akshay Kumar are being discussed for the cast of Manchu Vishnu’s Kannappa.

Supreme Court closes all the cases against to Prabhas’s Adipurush

The Supreme Court on Monday closed the proceedings against the makers of the Hindi film Adipurush, which was based on the Hindu epic Ramayana and faced allegations of hurting religious sentiments in different High Courts.

The pending proceedings against the film were described as a futile exercise by a bench of Justices Sanjay Kishan Kaul and Sudhanshu Dhulia. “All these matters must close now; these are unnecessary proceedings before the High Courts”, Justice Kaul opined.

After noting that the film was released after the proper certification, the Court closed the cases.

“In view of our order passed earlier on the same feature film, we are of the view that all the proceedings against it before different courts are a futile exercise. Thus, we find it fit to close such proceedings in the subject matter in issue. The film was released with certification. This should put a closure to the matters,” the order stated.

Adipurush has been subject to litigation since its release, and the makers have had to modify some scenes and dialogues due to strong public objections from society.

In July, the Supreme Court stayed orders and proceedings in various High Courts against the makers of Adipurush. The Court rejected a plea requesting the revocation of the film’s screening certification at that time. In a brief, yet strongly worded order, the Court had stressed cinematic liberties.

Akshay Kumar has made a comeback to the big screens after playing Lord Shiva’s messenger in OMG 2. He played Jaswant Singh Gill, a brave and sincere mining engineer who rescued 65 trapped miners from Rani Ganj Coal fields in 1989 in his latest film, Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue. However, the film could not get even decent collections at the box office.

After getting below par numbers on day 1, the film, Mission Raniganj saw a slight jump on the second day, but it failed to get a strong number on Sunday as it got affected by the Ind vs. Aus World Cup match. Overall the film collected a meager total of 12.8Cr net for 3 days and it is not showing any signs of jumping further.

The film was anticipated to receive a great response, as it was directed by Vashu Bhagnani, who was one of the most well-known producers of the 1990s, and directed by Tinu Suresh Desai, whose last film was the successful Rustom. Sadly, the film could not get the proper hype and Ind vs. Aus World Cup match has even more worsened the situation for the film.

Mission Raniganj is consists of a stellar cast which includes Parineeti Chopra, Kumud Mishra, Pawan Malhotra, Ravi Kishan, Jameel Khan, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, Varun Badola, and many others. Akshay’s last super hit film before OMG 2 was Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi in 2021. Meanwhile, he has released about 8 films, but most of them haven’t had any impact, like Atrangi Re, Cuttputlli, Bell Bottom, Bachchhan Paandey, Raksha Bandhan Ram Setu, Selfie, or Samrat Prithviraj.

The announcement of Salaar releasing on December 22nd, has made Saindhav, Hi Nanna, and Extra Ordinary Man are all out of the Christmas 2023 race. It is already known that Saindhav, starring Venkatesh, is a part of the Sankranthi 2024 race and an official announcement was made recently. Meanwhile, Nani’s Hi Nanna will be released on December 7th now and the official announcement will be out soon.

Becuase of the change in the release date, there will be a clash of medium budget films. While Hi Nanna is getting released on 7th December, Varun Tej’s Operation Valentine will come out on 8th December. Vishwak Sen’s Gangs Of Godavari is also set to be released on 8th December, and Nithin’s Extraordinary Man has recently made the announcement that the release date has been changed from 22nd to 8th December.

Due to the many films scheduled for Sankranthi’s release, Hi Nanna and Extra Ordinary Man chose not to be released in January. Salaar will clash with Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki, and the Hollywood film Aquaman will also be released during the holiday weekend.

So it is not only big guns like Salaar and Dunki aiming at each other in December, but there will be a clash between three medium – budget films before that during the second week of December.

Lawrence’s upcoming film, Jigarthanda Double X has a whopping 100 crore budget

Lawrence – SJ Surya are playing the lead role in the much-awaited action comedy Jigarthanda Double X which is directed by Karthik Subbaraj. The makers of this blockbuster sequel held an event for first single release in part of the promotions. The film is being produced by Kaarthekeyen Santhanam, Alankar Pandian and S. Kathiresan under the banners of Stone Bench Films, Five Star Creation, and Invenio Origin.

Speaking about the film, the makers expressed great confidence in it and said that the audience will definitely be thoroughly entertained. “It is not a small film by any means, when you watch the film on screen you’ll understand what I’m saying, said Kaarthekeyen Santhanam. “This is Karthiksubbaraj’s next film in theatres after 5 years, as the previous two films released on OTT Waiting to see it on screens with you this Diwali,” he added.

Lawrence, who was supposed to be a part of the prequel as well, made an interesting revelation.

“I was supposed to do Assault Sethu’s character in Part-1. I was upset for an entire day after watching the film. But now, I’m so happy that Instead of acting in a 20-crore film, I’ve now done a 100 crore film,” revealed the actor-choreographer.

Lawrence was of great praise for the young director Karthick Subbaraj. Speaking about Karthik’s direction, Lawrence said, “I always wanted to work with Balachander sir more, even though he introduced me first. He was my guru. But now, I feel Karthik Subbaraj is my guru. Anybody can give hit films, but Karthik sir showed me in an entirely different way.”

The Telugu film industry has been eagerly waiting for the announcement of the Telangana Elections. Because the movies which were scheduled to be released during December second week and Sankranthi were in danger of getting affected by the Elections. There has been news for a few days that the Telangana Elections will be held on December end or Sankranthi time, so the movies and teams waited eagerly for the official announcement.

Now today the announcement is out that the Telangana Assembly Elections will be held on November 30, 2023.

The Legislative Assembly elections in Telangana will be held on November 30, and the gazette notification will be issued on November 3. Vote counting is scheduled to take place on December 3. The deadline for nomination submission is November 10, and the last day to withdraw candidate applications is November 15. November 13 will be the date for application scrutiny.

For the last few days, the news of Game Changer’s digital rights acquisition by Zee Studios for a whopping 270Cr has spread like wildfire. However, there is little substance in these reports. During the initial stages of filming, Dil Raju made a deal with Zee Studios which amounted to Rs350Cr. This deal included all the rights to the film and came with some terms and conditions.

Dil Raju, back then believed that since this film was a political and content-based one, the team would wrap up the budget under Rs 300Cr. He planned of making big table profits and expected some overflows of theatrical also to be added to his profits. These plans didn’t last long as there was buzz that the deal was changed a bit and terms were changed.

The producer is in a tricky situation with constant delays and rising costs of film production due to these delays. Now the question arises that Zee is already a part of the Game Changer film how can they buy the film’s OTT rights for 270Cr if a deal was already made long back of OTT + Satellite rights. There is no truth at ALL about the film’s digital rights fetching this massive amount.

The 7th Bigg Boss Season of Telugu has got a new shape with this weekend. Subhashree Rayaguru got eliminated as soon as the Sunday episode started in an unexpected manner. Shortly thereafter, Nagarjuna gave a shocking twist that there is double elimination this week. After Subhashree, Gautam was eliminated and sent back to the secret room.

However, this move from the Bigg Boss team flopped badly, and it was a surprise only to the viewers and not the contestants. The way Gautam’s elimination happened, it was too obvious for the other contestants to guess it was a fake elimination.
