Naga Chaitanya and Vikram K Kumar’s first ever web series has started streaming on OTT since last night. The Series had gained a lot of attention because of the intriguing promos, and Dhootha Web Series turns out to be a gripping mystery thriller.

Story: Sagar (Naga Chaitanya), who is widely recognized as a journalist, has been appointed as the chief editor of Samachar newspaper. Sagar is elated with this promotion, but his happiness has faded due to many tragedies. The fact that some newspaper clippings predicted these tragedies came across as a bigger shock to him. Does Sagar’s life have any hidden chapters? Was he able to uncover the secret behind the newspaper clippings? Answers to these questions form the rest of the story.

Performances: Naga Chaitanya was fantastic in the history of OTT debut. His character had multiple shades, and he presented himself as Sagar convincingly. Parvathy Thiruvothu was good and left a strong impact. Priya Bhavani Shankar, Prachi Desai, Pasupathy, Ravindra Vijay, Tharun Bhascker, and the rest of the cast were appropriate.

However, strangely, for Tamil Heroes they are offering massive remunerations.

Recently, for Varisu Dil Raju has given 120Cr remuneration to Vijay which became the main reason for the film’s huge budget and the team compromised on quality and finally, Dil Raju did not make any profits with the film. Surprisingly, Dil Raju has never given 100Cr remuneration to any Telugu hero, but he gave120Cr to Vijay.

Now the same thing is being done by Mythri Movie Makers as reportedly they are offering 150Cr remuneration to Tamil Star Hero Ajith. Recently, it is being reported that Ajith will be working with Director Gopichand Malineni under the production of Mythri Movie Makers.

One cannot help but wonder that how come they think Ajith market is such big. Ajith’s films never did even 100Cr theatrical business until now. If Ajith’s remuneration is 150Cr, then the budget will at least reach 220Cr, or 230Cr. One cannot understand how the producers think it is a recoverable amount.
