Recently the makers of Thalaivar 170 started announcing the star cast of the film, and today they have made another interesting announcement.
According to the latest update, Rana Daggubati has also been included in this project directed by TJ Gnanavel. Thalaivar 170 is said to be based on a true story, and Rajinikanth is expected to portray the role of a police officer.
The film is anticipated to hit theaters next year. Rana Daggubati’s inclusion in the Thalaivar 170 cast was officially announced by the production company, Lyca Productions, via their social media account. They expressed their enthusiasm for Rana Daggubati joining the team. Reportedly, this told was first set for Nani but after that, it moved to Sharwanand and finally Rana on boarded officially.
Actress Manju Warrier was also speculated to be in the film for many days, along with her, the film will also have Ritika Singh, Dushara Vijayan as per the recent official confirmation from the makers.
According to reports, TJ Gnanavel, the director, is actively seeking well-known actors from different film industries to make this project unique. The cast is already comprised of actors like Amitabh Bachchan from Bollywood, Fahadh Faasil from Malayalam cinema, and now Rana Daggubati from Telugu cinema.
As for the movie’s storyline, Thalaivar 170 is said to be inspired by a real-life incident, with Rajinikanth playing the role of a police officer. The film is being produced by Lyca Productions, and the music will be composed by the talented Anirudh Ravichandran.
The film’s announcement coincided with Lyca Productions founder Subaskaran Allirajah’s birthday in March, and fans are eagerly awaiting another Rajinikanth blockbuster. The shooting of the film will start soon.
