Vishnu Manchu’s Kannappa was released in theaters last week amidst decent buzz; it had a good day 1 at the box office. However, the trend went downward with each day, and even on the weekend, there is no push for Kannappa.
As said above, the film had a decent opening and saw a drop on the 1st weekend. Thereafter, it completely dropped on weekdays, and the film has collected around 17 Cr share till now.
Manchu Vishnu’s Kannappa fails to show any growth on the second weekend
Yesterday, Nithiin’s Thammudu was released and received a negative response, so the trade expected that the devotional movie would take advantage of it.
However, even on the weekend, there is no push for Vishnu Manchu’s Kannappa. Most likely this weekend will be the closing for the film, with the final share being under 20 Cr.
This is Manchu Vishnu’s career’s highest-grossing film, but considering the budget and stars involved in it, the Kannappa movie will end as a box-office failure.
