Actor Nithiin recently faced a major setback with his film Thammudu, and after several rumors about his next project, the actor has now officially announced a sci-fi film with director VI Anand.
Telugu cinema fans are excited as Nithiin has confirmed his next film, tentatively titled Nithiin36, under the direction of VI Anand. The high-concept sci-fi entertainer was officially announced today on the occasion of Rathasapthami.
Nithiin Changes Plans, Confirms New Film with Unexpected Director
During the promotions of Thammudu, Nithiin had earlier mentioned that Yellamma and a project with director Vikram Kumar would be his upcoming films. But after Thammudu failed at the box office, those plans appear to have changed.
Yellamma has already been announced with DSP in the lead role, while there has been no update so far on the Vikram Kumar project. Reportedly, after discussions with several filmmakers, the Ishq actor has now finalized and officially announced his next film.
Director VI Anand, known for successful films like Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada and the recent hit Ooru Peru Bhairavakona, is returning with another visually ambitious and concept-driven project. The film is being produced by Srinivasaa Chhitturi, with Pavan Kumar presenting it.
