Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi starrer Amaran has emerged as one of the biggest box-office hits of the year. The film has grossed a massive Rs 330 crores worldwide and is the biggest hit of Sivakarthikeyan’s career. The film was released for Diwali and ran successfully across all the regions with great occupancies even on weekdays.
This terrific run even led to distributors and exhibitors requesting a delay in the OTT release. Amaran will finally make its way to OTT soon. The film will stream on Netflix from 5th December.
The streaming giant has updated that this biographical drama will be available in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi. Amaran’s box-office success has now elevated Sivakarthikeyan’s stature in Kollywood. The film even grossed 50 crores in Telugu states earning massive profits all over AP and Telangana.
Directed by Rajkumar Periasamy, Amaran is a biographical action drama that follows the lives of Major Mukund Varadarajan and his sacrifice for the nation.
