Nandamuri Balakrishna apologies to Deva Brahmins

Balakrishna, in high demand, becomes the number one choice for commercial directors. This generation's top 6 stars are not showing any interest in doing films with regular commercial directors like Boyapati Sreenu, Bobby, Gopichand Malineni, Anil Ravipudi, Harish Shankar, Puri Jagannath, Sampath Nandi, and many directors who make regular commercial films. Balakrishna is in high demand and has become the number one choice for commercial directors.

Nandamuri Balakrishna picked up a controversy for his alleged demeaning statements against a particular caste. He suffered the wrath of that community for his comments. Immediately, he had to issue a press statement, pointing out the reason behind his remarks.

If we go into the story, Balayya passed controversial statements about Deva Brahmin caste in one of the promotional interviews of his recent film Veera Simha Reddy. He said that Devala Maharshi is the guru of Deva Brahmins and called Ravana Brahma as their leader.

These comments didn’t go well with those caste members. They lashed out at Balayya for his inappropriate remarks about their caste. Soon, he dropped a press note this morning and apologized to the representatives of the Deva Brahmin community.

He acknowledged Deva Brahmin community leaders for correcting him about the caste’s history. He added he didn’t mean to hurt anyone’s sentiments and apologized for his statement. Furthermore, he wished that the community members will receive his apology.

On another hand, Balayya’s Veera Simha Reddy was released last Thursday and is having a good run at the box office. Directed by Gopichand Malineni, they made the film as an action entertainer.
