The sensational Bollywood hit Dhurandhar is creating a strong buzz on Netflix, recording impressive viewership numbers. Amid this success, rumours began circulating that Nagarjuna was once considered for a key role in the film, but the actor has now clarified that he has no connection with Dhurandhar.
A few days ago, reports claimed that the role of Rahman Dakait, played by Akshaye Khanna, was initially offered to Nagarjuna, but he allegedly turned it down. Many Telugu movie lovers believed the news and felt disappointed, thinking their favourite star had missed out on such a powerful character, as Akshaye Khanna got a big name with his performance.
Putting all speculation to rest, Nagarjuna stated that he was never offered the role from Dhurandhar in the first place.
“I was not offered the role, though I wish I was. Dhurandhar is a superb film. The direction by Aditya Dhar is truly incredible. The performances by everyone were outstanding, and Akshaye Khanna was terrific,” Nagarjuna said during a recent interaction with the media.
