Naga Chaitanya is said to have signed a project with Sithara Entertainments, and Harish Shankar is in discussions to direct this film. If everything goes well, the movie’s team is planning for a Sankranthi 2027 release.
Interestingly, the first film of Sithara Entertainments by Naga Vamsi was Premam (2016), which starred Naga Chaitanya. Now, the combination is getting repeated after almost a decade. Another interesting point is that, to date, Naga Chaitanya has only released one film during the Sankranthi festival, and that is Bangarraju (2022).
Naga Chaitanya Set to Release Two Films in a Small Timeframe
Chaitanya is currently working with Virupaksha fame Karthik Dandu on Vrushakarma, a mythical action thriller targeting a late summer or 2nd half release this year.
The film’s title and first-look poster received a positive response, and it stars Meenakshi Chaudhary as the female lead and Sparsh Shrivastava (of Laapataa Ladies fame) as the antagonist. Veteran actor Jayaram also plays a key role.
