Disney’s Mufasa: The Lion King will soon be available for streaming on OTT. Directed by Barry Jenkins, the prequel to the 2019 The Lion King remake had a good run at the box office.
Movie lovers will be happy to know that Mufasa: The Lion King OTT Streaming Details are out, but there is a catch. On February 18, the movie will be available for purchase via digital retailers (Amazon, Apple, Google, etc). And then the April 1 date is when the physical copies (4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD) will be available to purchase. There is no announcement of streaming on OTT platform yet.
Mufasa: The Lion King is the latest addition to Walt Disney Animation Studios’ live-action collection, earning nearly USD 653 million worldwide. While the 2019 film traced Simba’s rise to kingship, the 2024 prequel explored Mufasa’s early life.
Made as a prequel to The Lion King (2019), Mufasa was released in theaters worldwide on December 20, 2024. The film received average reviews but in India, the film saw superb response and collected 100 crore net at the box office. Now, movie lovers can enjoy it in the digital space.
