Caste, unfortunately, is an integral part of Tollywood. Several Tollywood heroes, their families, and their fandoms have utilized caste as a ladder for their career success. There are several top-level heroes and even directors known for showing caste favoritism. There has been strong talk always in the industry that Mega family circles have strong caste feelings. When it comes to Managers, PRs, and the internal team it is believed that the selection is always made from the same caste.
One big exception to this was Satish who worked till recently as Sai Dharam Tej’s manager. Satish played a significant role in Sai Dharam Tej’s career over the years. He was involved in every move of the actor right from the movie script to publicity works. Because of his great work, Satish managed to put the actor in a good position with continuous good projects.
However, after Virupaksha’s success, some members around Sai Dharam Tej started a negative campaign against Satish. The main reason for this was that Satish was not from their caster and they didn’t want to involve other caste members once the hero becomes a big star. They believed that Sai Dharam Tej has become a big star with Virupaksha hence they introduced another person from the same caste as the new Manager. This sudden change was not appreciated by Satish who put in years of hard work for the actor. This led to arguments and finally, Satish had to leave the camp.
Satish is a software engineer and a big fan of the mega family. Due to his extreme admiration for Mega family heros, he left his Software career and joined Sai Dharam Tej. When the young mega hero was scoring continuous failures Satish took responsibility and set quality projects in his lineup. In fact, Satish is the main reason for Virupaksha to happen.
Unfortunately, this is not the first time that the caste equation of the hero’s staff has been brought up in the Mega circles. Whenever someone succeeds, the caste equation comes into play.
