Unni Mukundan’s Marco receives a huge success at the box office as it collects more than 100 Cr gross. Though it received a mixed response for its content, the makers stated they will come back with a sequel. But, as per the latest news, Marco 2 is officially shelved.
As said above, Haneef Adeni’s violent action film was a good success in the theaters, and it delivered decent numbers in Telugu and Hindi too. In Hindi, it became the first Mollywood film to post double-digit numbers.

The film’s sequel was announced long ago. However, actor Unni Mukundan officially confirmed that Marco 2 is shelved due to negativity around the film. A fan commented on the actor’s Instagram account, and he replied to that comment.
