February isn’t ideal for big film releases as there are no public holidays, and students are busy with exams. Most films struggle to attract audiences to theaters in February, with only a few managing to perform well.
This February, six films from South India have joined the 100 Cr club, with two from the Malayalam industry. Today, Manjummel Boys is crossing the 170 Cr mark worldwide, emerging as the biggest South Indian grosser for February releases.
