There was buzz that Mahesh Babu’s next film after Varanasi was likely to be with Sandeep Vanga, but it now appears there is no chance of that happening, as the director’s lineup is proceeding as per his initial commitments.
After Spirit, many expected Sandeep Vanga to work on a project with Mahesh Babu, especially since Mahesh Babu is also expected to be free after the SSR project, leading to speculation that the film would start immediately.
But the producers and now hero Ranbir Kapoor have officially confirmed that Sandeep Vanga’s next film is Animal Park, with the shoot scheduled to begin in 2027. Hence, there is no immediate possibility of a Mahesh Babu–Sandeep Vanga collaboration. Moreover, after Animal Park, Vanga is also committed to directing a film with Allu Arjun.
Ranbir Kapoor Talks about the Animal Franchise
Ranbir Kapoor revealed that Animal Park will feature him in two roles: as both the hero and the villain. This dual role brings a new dimension to the franchise and promises a more intense and intricate storyline.
Ranbir also praised Sandeep Reddy Vanga, referring to him as an “incredibly original director.” He mentioned that they have been sharing ideas since the start and that the direction of the story is “very exciting.”
