Lokesh Kanagaraj ventures into movie production. He took to his official Twitter Account on Monday to announce the launch of his production venture “G Squad”. Lokesh is the latest sensation in the Tamil film industry, having made blockbusters Kaithi, Vikram and Leo—all part of the ‘Loki Cinematic Universe’ or LCU.

Lokesh on X (formerly known as Twitter) said, “After directing five films, I am delighted to announce the launch of my production venture — G Squad, dedicated towards redefining the landscape of storytelling and entertainment.”

Lokesh who began his career with Maanagaram, will be working with superstar Rajinikanth in his next. The pre-production work for the yet-to-be-titled Rajinikanth film, ‘Thalaivar 171’ is under way. He had earlier said that Thalaivar 171 would be a stand-alone film with no connection to LCU. He also has plans to direct a movie with actor Suriya as Rolex, a character that was introduced in Vikram.
