The Lokah Cinematic Universe (LCU) is not only awaited by Malayalam audiences, but it also has a craze across languages. The first part, Lokah: Chapter 1-Chandhra, emerged as an all-time blockbuster for the Malayalam Film industry. The film’s lead actress, Kalyani Priyadarshan, shared an exciting update about Lokah 2.
Kalyani Priyadarshan said that the script work is going on for Lokah 2, and hopefully, shooting will begin in September. She also said that she will be a part of the film, teasing fans to wait to see what her character will do in the film.
The second chapter of Lokah universe was announced with Tovino Thomas as the lead role: “Michael,” a chathan (goblin). His character, along with Charlie (Dulquer) appear for a short period in the first part, and now fans cannot wait to see what exciting content the next part has.
Directed by Dominic Arun and produced by Wayfarer Films, Lokah Universe is a planned five-part series that blends Kerala folklore and mythology with modern, Marvel-style superhero storytelling.
