The trailer of Liger was dropped on 21st July and took social media by storm. The trailer spread like wildfire, amassing record views. The Telugu version of the trailer has clocked 16.8 M views and 561K likes in just 24 hours.

These numbers are usually achieved only by the star heroes in Tier 1. This spot is reserved only for the so-called A-List actors. It is safe to say that Vijay is very close to crossing the Tier 2 barrier and making an entry into Tier 1.

Liger’s trailer comfortably beat the all-time record of any Non-Tier 1 actor, in terms of views and likes. It is still not a huge surprise that Vijay and the team have Liger have achieved this in Telugu but the real surprise is the Hindi trailer.

The response to the Hindi version has been fantastic and even some star actors can only dream of such a response for the Hindi version of their films. It is also important to mention that Ananya Pandey and Karan Johar also have a massive role to play in the success of the Hindi version.

Coming to the other languages, the Tamil version has garnered 2.1M views and 115K likes. Whereas the Kannada version is at 672K views and 33K likes and Malayalam stands at 908K views and 36K likes. In total, Liger has posted an astonishing 50.68M views and 1.27M likes in just 24 hours.
