Liger was one of the most ambitious projects of Puri Jagannadh and Vijay Deverakonda’s careers. As per Puri and Vijay, This pan India project was expected to ‘shake India’. However, everything didn’t go as per plan and the movie was severely panned by the critics and ended up as a huge disaster. The movie left Puri with massive losses and Vijay with a massive flop in his filmography.

The sports action drama starred Ananya Pandey and Ramya Krishnan in key roles. Karan Johar and Puri jointly produced the film. This much anticipated pan-India project was released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Hindi as well as in Malayalam.
