Written and directed by S. J. Suryah, Kushi (2001) was a major commercial success and emerged a cult classic over the years. And since then, a sequel to this romantic drama has been discussed multiple times.
Now that Suryah is busy promoting his next release, Saripodha Sanivaaram, a sequel to Kushi has gained attention yet again. In a media interaction, the actor-director revealed that he had narrated the script of Kushi 2 to Pawan Kalyan, and the latter was impressed with it.
However, he politely turned it down, citing that he can’t star in love stories at this phase. Suryah went on to state that ‘Global Star’ Ram Charan would be a good choice to play the lead role in Kushi 2. What do you think of it?
