Kayadu Lohar made her Telugu debut in 2022 alongside Sree Vishnu in the cop drama Alluri. The film failed to click with the audience and ended as a disappointment at the box office.
The actress had high hopes for her second Telugu outing, Funky, which released earlier this February (2026). Directed by Anudeep KV and starring Vishwak Sen, the film was expected to be a major breakout for her.
Unfortunately, Funky met with poor reviews and a weak theatrical run, resulting in another significant failure for the actress.
All Eyes on The Paradise
With two flops behind her, Kayadu Lohar has pinned all her expectations on The Paradise. This isn’t just another film — it is the biggest project of her career so far.
The Nani Factor: Starring alongside Natural Star Nani and directed by Srikanth Odela (the duo behind the blockbuster Dasara), the film carries immense weight.
Pan-India Scale: Unlike her previous Telugu films, The Paradise is being mounted as a massive Pan-India spectacle.
Release Date: The film is officially slated for a grand release on August 21, 2026.
Tamil Offers Pile Up
Interestingly, while Kayadu is busy with multiple high-profile offers in Tamil (including projects with Sivakarthikeyan and Silambarasan TR), The Paradise remains the only Telugu film in her current lineup.
