Kantara, starring Rishab Shetty became a sensational blockbuster in 2022. The film grossed nearly 400 crores worldwide, also becoming a Pan Indian euphoria. The team announced the sequel of the film, Kantara: Chapter 1, later and the shoot is also progressing currently.
Kantara: Chapter 1 was scheduled for release on October 2nd this year. But, as per sources, the film is likely to get postponed from this date and may release in the first half of next year. This is surely disappointing for the fans and audience. The film has already seen multiple delays in the shoot and this is also one of the reasons for the postponement.
There are huge expectations on the film. Makers expect the film to become a Pan India sensation just like its prequel. Written and directed by Rishab Shetty, the film is being made on a large-scale budget produced by Vijay Kirangadur and Chaluve Gowda under their Hombale Films.
