Dulquer Salmaan’s Kaantha was released in Tamil and Telugu amidst decent hype, but finally it ended its theatrical run on a disappointing note. Before the release, the film caught everyone’s attention with interesting promos.
The film emerged as a box office failure in Telugu and Tamil. The audiences did not show much interest in watching the film in theaters. In Telugu it received poor word of mouth and reviews but in Tamil it had unanimous reviews but still it did not works.
