Story: Vikram Rathod (Shah Rukh Khan) puts the lives of 376 passengers at risk while hijacking a metro train. Narmada (Nayanthara) is the lady officer who negotiates with him successfully but fails to catch him. But Vikram does not stop there, as he is on a mission to tell something to the society. Meanwhile, Azad (also SRK) and Narmada fall for each other. Kalee Gaikwad (Vijay Sethupathi), an arms dealer, has a past connection with Vikram Rathod. What is the backstory of Vikram and Kalee? Who is Aishwarya? Will Vikram be successful in his mission? Answers to these questions form the rest of the story.
Performances: Shah Rukh Khan gives a complete one-man show in the film. Right from start to end, he mesmerizes with his enchanting screen presence and one liners in the dual role. Vijay Sethupathi was good and entertained in villain role. Deepika Padukone was effective in a small yet vital role. Nayanthara was Good while Priyamani, Sunil Grover, Sanya Malhotra and others were fine.

Verdict:
Overall, Jawan is a well-made mass movie with enough entertainment packed with grand taking. Shah Rukh Khan’s performance, Anirudh’s BGM, action sequences work well for the film, while the tried and tested storyline and some dull moments around the flashback are minus points.
