The inside circles of the industry say that there are high chances for the film to go on sets this year. Director Anudeep is currently working on a funky movie with Vishwak Sen, and Naveen Polishetty is busy with the Anaganaga Oka Raju shooting.
After both the actor and director finish their commitments, the Jathi Ratnalu sequel is likely to take place. During the re-release press meet of Yevade Subramanyam, director Nag Ashwin also confirmed that if Kalki 2 takes more time to go on sets, then he will spend the same time for Jathi Ratnalu’s sequel production.
