Shaik Jani Basha, professionally known as Jani Master, is an Indian dance choreographer from Nellore, Andhra Pradesh. Best known for his work in Telugu and Tamil films, he recently bagged a National Film Award for his outstanding choreography in Dhanush’s Thiruchitrambalam (2022).
While his professional life has been a walk in the park, his personal life saw a downturn recently. A 21-year-old choreographer (female) has filed a sexual harassment case against this gentleman. According to her, Jani repeatedly assaulted her during their outdoor shootings in Mumbai and Chennai.
An FIR has also been filed, and a police investigation is in progress. Following this allegation, Jani Master was immendiately suspended from the Jana Sena Party (JSP). For those unaware, Jani is a close associate of actor-politician Pawan Kalyan, and their friendship was the primary reason why he chose to take part in the Jana Sena Party’s political campaigns.
