The OTT platforms have already committed to many movies and are spending big amounts for 2025, which is making them unable to offer producers’ quoted amounts. With this, the makers chose 9th January 2026 as the release date.
Prime Video has set the OTT deal with Jana Nayagan, and it has bought the rights of the film for all languages. The makers officially announced this, as they have added the logo of Prime Video to official posters.
Reportedly, the OTT rights of the film are sold at around the 110 Cr range, which is a solid deal for the makers, considering the recent downfall of the OTT market.
