World renowned director James Cameron praised Ram Charan’s characterization in RRR, and he also told many of his thoughts about SS Rajamouli’s action epic RRR, his encounter with Rajamouli, and the complicated aspect of ‘Ram’ character.
The Avatar director called the critically acclaimed film RRR ‘a triumph. In an interview with Zoom TV, James Cameron talked about the role of Ram in RRR and his encounter with SS Rajamouli.
He said, “It’s almost Shakespearean…you know…and the journey that you go on, especially with understanding the Ram character, who is very challenging for two-thirds of the movie. And then you finally understand what’s going on in his head, and it’s heartbreak, right? I just think it’s a triumph. I told Mr. Rajamouli this in person, recently. But we didn’t really get much time to talk. It was in a crowded thing. I would love to talk to him more.”
Earlier, Rajamouli had revealed that James Cameron viewed his film RRR, and he liked it so much that he suggested it to his wife and watched it one more time. Rajamouli and Cameron both met at the Critics’ Choice Awards, where RRR won the Best Foreign Language Film last year.
