The most awaited sequel of the blockbuster Jailer is all set for its announcement. There were rumors that the film’s title was fixed as Hukum. However, as per sources, the team is not considering this title for the sequel. The title was fixed as Jailer 2 in the Announcement Teaser which is slated for a theatrical release tomorrow.
The Announcement Teaser will be of the length of 2 minutes and 23 seconds as seen from the censor formalities today. The Teaser will be screened in a few select theatres at 6 PM tomorrow. There are huge expectations on the sequel with Jailer becoming a sensational blockbuster grossing more than 600 crores worldwide.
Most of the cast and crew are set to repeat for the sequel as well. It is also learned that the shoot for the film will begin in March this year and will aim for release next year. Rajinikanth is also busy shooting for his Coolie which is eyeing the release date of Independence Day this year.
