Tamil Nadu has crossed ₹175 Cr in 11 days. With the film still holding strongly, it’s now heading towards the ₹200 Cr mark in its home state, a huge milestone for any Tamil film.
Overseas Crosses ₹250 Cr
Overseas continues to be a massive strength. Jailer 2 has crossed ₹250 Cr outside India, after becoming the first Tamil film ever to cross $25M overseas.
Big Numbers Across the South
The other South Indian markets are delivering record numbers too. The Telugu states have crossed ₹85 Cr, Karnataka ₹80 Cr and Kerala ₹70 Cr. In Kerala, Jailer 2 is already the biggest Tamil grosser of all time.
North India Crosses ₹47 Cr
North India has added ₹47 Cr+, a strong number for a Tamil film that skipped the national multiplex chains in the Hindi belt.
India Nears ₹460 Cr
All the Indian markets together have crossed ₹455 Cr. Jailer 2 is now closing in on the ₹500 Cr mark in India, which only 2.0 has reached among Tamil films, with around ₹520 Cr.
₹800 Cr Is Next
With ₹710 Cr in 11 days, Jailer 2 is already the highest-grossing Tamil film ever. The next big target is ₹800 Cr worldwide, and at its current pace, the film is well on its way.
