Indian 2, the latest film of Director Shankar and Actor Kamal Haasan is streaming now on Netflix. The film became a box office bomb and attracted huge level of trolling on Director Shankar for his mis-management in handling the sequel of classic Indian/Bharatayeeudu. Now, even after the OTT release on Netflix, Indian 2 is getting huge trolls on social media platforms.
The film was able to gross ony 150 crores against a theatrical business of around 180 crores. This is less than 1/4th of the collections grossed by Shankar’s previous film, 2.0. Indian 2 was not handled properly by Director Shankar with his outdated screenplay and scenes. The plan of making it into two parts too had cost the film badly. The film hoped to get a relief from the OTT release. But it looks the result is same once more.
Indian 2 has been getting trolled badly for almost every scene. Many are uploading the videos and scenes and mocking Shankar for including them in the film. Many scenes in the film where Kamal Haasan performs were getting trolled brutally. This is truly a shocking response in the OTT segment as well. We have to see how the team responds to this criticism even on OTT.
