Indian 2 and Kanguva have postponed their releases from the summer of 2024. It is widely known that Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2 (Bharateeyudu 2) and Suriya’s Kanguva were planned for next summer, but both films are set to be out of summer. The Kollywood audiences and trade circles were excited about this clash, but the latest reports strongly suggest that Indian 2 and Kanguva have postponed their summer releases.
Reportedly, the post-production and CG works are taking longer than expected. Both movies involve a lot of CG work, so they are continuously postponing the release. At first, both films were planned to come in January 2024, one for Pongal and another for Republic weekend. However, with the delay in CG works, they were postponed to summer again, and both films have been shifted to August/ September.
Most movies suffer from CG work as the units fail to deliver in committed time. For some parts, even after the delivery, the makers did not like the output and were sent to rework it again. Both films are being made with a high budget. Indian 2 and Kanguva both have postponed their release dates from summer.
