Indian 2 and Indian 3 are targeting a 2024 release. It is widely known that Kamal Haasan is working on Indian 2 (Bharateeyudu 2), the most awaited sequel for his blockbuster film Indian – Bharateeyudu (1996), under the direction of Shankar. The film will be released in two parts, and the latest reports suggest that Indian 2 and Indian 3 are targeting a 2024 release.

The team of Indian 2 has completed a schedule in Chennai, and with this, all the film’s shoot parts have been completed. Reportedly, only two songs are left in the movie.

Indian 2 shooting completed except two songs

The songs shoot is planned for January 2024, and the makers want to release the film in the summer as they have to release the sequel, Indian 3, in the same year. For Indian 3, most of the shoot has already been completed, and CG work is happening for both parts. Indian 3 just needs a few days of shooting, according to the team.

So, according to the reports, the makers plan is to release Indian 2 in the summer of 2024 and Indian 3 on Diwali 2024. Kamal Haasan will have three releases in 2024, Indian 2, and Indian 3, and it is also known that he is a part of Project K of Prabhas and Nag Ashwin.

Indian 2 Cast and Crew

Kamal Haasan reprises the iconic Senapathy character in the film Indian 2 alongside several renowned Tamil actors, including Kajal Aggarwal, Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, Bobby Simha, S J Suryah, and late actors Vivek and Manobala. Anirudh Ravichander is the film’s music director. Lyca Productions and Red Giant Films jointly produce the film.
