Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Kaaram had a terrific Sankranti with great occupancies and housefuls in several regions in Andhra. The film, which was released to unfavourable reviews and poor talk saw word of mouth improve over the last few days and the festival days further helped the movie overcome several odds.
On Monday, Guntur Kaaram had its biggest day in Telugu states post-release day and put up some fantastic numbers in Telugu states.
The total Telugu states’ share stands at Rs 69.5 crores while the rest of India and overseas share is around Rs 19.5 crores. In total, Guntur Kaaram has collected a share of Rs 89 crores marking a recovery of 66%. With the way it’s going, collecting 20 Cr in the next 3 days is very much possible and the Rs 100 crore share milestone will also be breached soon.
