Game Changer suffered on the opening day with a poor review and word of mouth. The film did decent on the opening day but witnessed a big drop in Telugu States on Day 2. It collected only around 8 crores and Day 3 looks even less than Day 2. The poor response and the arrival of Daaku Maharaaj impacted the film a lot.
For the 1st weekend, Game Changer recovery in Telugu States is just only 40% which is very disappointing. The Sankranthi festival euphoria is set to start tomorrow and Game Changer needs a miraculous jump from there to recover at least 70-80% for the buyers. The Telugu States’ rights are valued at 130 crores and the film must at least get 110 crore+ to make the game safe for the buyers.
So, the team’s hopes are on the Sankranthi festival to get relief. But other film, Sankranthiki Vasthunam release may disturb these hopes of Game Changer which are already shattered by Daaku Maharaaj .
