Game Changer opened to a decent level of numbers worldwide yesterday. The film generated below-par reviews and word of mouth. But surprisingly, Game Changer is doing well in the Hindi belt. The film has opened at nearly 7 crores Nett in Hindi version without aggressive promotions there.
Day 2’s bookings also indicate a good performance and the occupancies are also increasing for each show. The number may also be on par with the opening day. If the same trend continues for some more days, Game Changer may join the 50 crore Nett club there. While the film’s performance and word of mouth are a concern here in the Telugu version, Hindi version performance is surely a surprise.
The popularity of Ram Charan after RRR is evident with this. Earlier, Devara too had the same range of openings in Hindi and performed okayish there in the long run. We need to see how Game Changer will hold in the coming days there.
