Game Changer opened to a decent gross of more than 85 crores worldwide even after a disappointing word of mouth. The film as said witnessed a big drop on Day 2 with around 35 crores gross and the Day 3 looks even more low in the range of 30 crores. The total worldwide gross for the weekend is 150 crores which is definitely a disappointing start for the film.
The worldwide breakeven mark is at 450 crores mark. This is just a 33% recovery for the film. The film needs a big jump and it must use the festival season well to end up as an average grosser. But the indication is alarming and the team must do something to add more collections.
The other films, Daaku Maharaaj and Sankranthiki Vasthunam are riding high with hype and the former has already received a blockbuster talk and may also become Balakrishna’s highest grosser.
