Pawan Kalyan fans are extremely happy, as the first single from their most-awaited movie, OG, has been released today. However, the song, Firestorm, sinks under Thaman’s overhype.

Everyone knows that “They Call Him OG” created a huge anticipation with its teaser and posters. Music director Thaman received a unanimous positive response for the BGM he scored for the teaser, and undoubtedly, his score has a main role in the massive reach of the teaser.

Recently, S. Thaman officially stated that OG’s music album will be an answer to Jailer and Leo’s music, which meant indirectly that he will outshine Anirudh’s work with OG music.

So there have been huge expectations for “They Call Him OG”‘s first single. Because of massive expectations, the song did not receive a unanimous positive response from audiences.

Everyone liked Pawan Kalyan’s presentation and the lyrical video design, but coming to the music, there are some complaints that it was too loud and the lyrics are not even clear because of bad mixing.

OG’s first single, Firestorm, fails to impress all because of Thaman’s overhype. While some sections felt it was a terrific composition, others felt the song did not reach the expectations or potential.

Had there not been such huge expectations, the song would have received a unanimous positive response from all audiences.
