Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Acharya has been the biggest disaster story of his illustrious career. The film ended up bringing crores of losses to the producers and also created a lot of animosity between Koratala Siva and Chiranjeevi who time and again targeted Koratala for his poor planning and execution of the film.
Now, the makers of the film have faced another big loss after months of the movie’s release. The temple set of the film which was erected in Hyderabad by spending crores of rupees has been burnt down and is down to ashes. The temple set was used prominently throughout the movie and the makers didn’t dismantle the set even after the shoot finished.
Post Acharya’s failure, Chiranjeevi’s next release was Godfather which was an average fare at the box office. The Megastar made a terrific comeback with Waltair Veerayya, which registered massive collections all over and ended at 6th position in Tollywood’s Top 10 movies. Koratala Siva, on the other hand, has been stuck with pre-productions works for NTR30 and this project has not yet gone on floors.
