Ever since Pawan Kalyan gave a speech at the pre-release event of Sai Dharam Tej’s Republic film, a war between him and the Andhra Pradesh Government had started. We know that Pawan Kalyan had floated a political party named Janasena in 2014. So after Pawan giving a political speech on Republic movie event, the AP govt tried to make the Telugu film industry suffer by lowering the ticket rates of the theaters.
Though the ticket rates issue was sorted after a few months with megastar Chiranjeevi and other Star heroes like Mahesh Babu and Prabhas requesting YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh in a meeting, the govt of AP still targeted the films of Pawan Kalyan.
Both Vakeel Saab and Bheemla Nayak got effected in AP due to the political wars. A new G. O with low ticket prices was suddenly on the same day when Vakeel Saab was out. Again, during the Bheemla Nayak time also the same situation continued with low ticket prices and in many Centers there was no permission for the special shows. Only 4 shows were allowed for the film.
However, this, Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming film Bro The Avatar is not getting affected by the political war as everything is going as per G. O like the other movies. The movie can have 5 shows in a day and the ticket prices are also as per the revised G. O but the team itself did not apply for the ticket hike in both states. So the ticket rates will be as per GO for Bro in both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
