He said that there were discussions between the Malayalam version’s production house and the Telugu and Hindi versions’ producers about releasing the film on the same day, but nothing has been decided yet. Jeethu also said that they will try their best, but if things do not go that way, they will release the Malayalam version first.
We need to wait for the official confirmation from the producers regarding the release of the third part of the Drishyam franchise, but if we look at all versions’ perspectives, the movie has to release on the same date; only then can all versions work at the box office.
If all versions of the film do not release on the same day, in this digital era, it is very tough to stop audiences from watching the original film first or comparing it to the remade versions.
