On the occasion of Diwali, 4 major releases took place in the Telugu states, and here is the first-weekend box office collections report of the movies.

The first movie on the list is Karthi’s spy thriller Sardar which is proving to be the Diwali winner among the 4 releases. It opened to decent collections on the opening day and picked up pace in the upcoming days. The Day 3 collections are more than the Day 2 and Day 1 collections. The Telugu states’ first weekend share is around 3.5 crores.

Sivakarthikeyan and Anudeep’s Prince had a lot of expectations riding on it but failed to impress the audiences. The film opened with mixed reviews and the day 2 and day 3 collections have dropped. With Sardar getting positive reviews, Prince has been left behind in the Diwali race. The first weekend share in the Telugu states is 2 crores and the theatrical business has been valued at 10 crores.

Vishwak Sen and Mithila Palkar’s Ori Devuda also opened to good reviews and the film is posting decent numbers. The film has opened to a solid 2.5 crore share in its first weekend at the box office.

Last and most definitely least, Manchu Vishnu’s Ginna has had a terrible weekend. There are almost no shares for this film and most of the shows are getting canceled.
